    Sticking up for my boy!!!H22 CB7 vs stock cobalt SS

    Yeah so we were out cruising toninght me and my boy Tn_Accords him in his CB7 and me in my mine anyways we go to leave our parking lot and he decides to do a little burn out. well this chevy cobalt SS decides he wants to fuck with us and so he starts talking shit to my boy. lol little did he know i wasnt just running your average fart can mod. It starts out my boy and this SS side by side and since i know the SS is goin to pull ahead since my boy doesnt have 3rd gear i get behind him and we all take off now i cant floor it cause i am already riding the SS ass and we pass my boy and he is waving me on he lets off and i cut over in front of him and floor it passing the SS and countinuing to pull so now they want to run again i give them a half car as his friend in the passenger seat counts down they launch i launch and with in 2nd gear i am already 2 cars ahead of them lol. so they pull up one more time i let them have a car before i floor and i go all the way through 3rd gear hitting 100 + MPH and they had already pulled off because they couldnt keep up. So we get to the bar we were going to and all just have a laugh because my $3K car smoked dudes $20K car lol

      this is the second one i have beat lol the first one gave me a good run though since he had some stage 2 parts on it

          the stage 2 cobalt SS is wanting to run me again once i get my car back up and running he has since added carbon fiber hood, upgraded his boost components, and added various other parts ... little does he know that when my car gets back on the road i will be running a new ECU and a 75 shot. I need to find a good place to get a tune on my ECU though

                I used to have that DISEASE...( leadfootitis )

                I guess getting tired of tickets..and watching out for Police got old...so I just do the speed limit...80% of the time...

                every now and then...I get a tingle in my right foot...and a little case of Leadfootitis comes in to play..then I take my medicine of slowthefuckdownsol...and Im back to doing the speed limit

                  3rd gear 100+ ...? must be running f22 tranny. my 3rd gear stops about 93-95 @ 7500rpms thats in the m2b4 soon to be t2w4
                  either kill it or drift it...

                    yeah f22 tranny and i am starting to wonder about it. when i drop the clutch both wheels spin leaving 2 solid black marks on the pavement. now if I am correct that shouldnt be happening without LSD. but yeah my 2nd gear hits 80 MPH now with a 8K rev limit and I havent had a chance to get it all the way up in 3rd gear.

                      and everyone thinks im crazy for wanting to keep my f22 tranny after i do an H22 swap

                      I was hearing good things about the Cobalts but now theyve seem to have evaporated...

                        I do know one thing.......the first gear in the F22 tranny is a beast.....its got some nice pull!

                          ill agree with that ... if you can get traction it pulls awsome. the longer gears will be nice for my nitrous too once I get around to installing it. if you go with a f22 tranny my best advice I can give you is to get a lightened flywheel so that you can rev faster. also get you a good chipped ECU with a good tune. I now have my vtec set at 5100 so i dont fall out of vtec anymore. i am still working on getting the air/fuel in a good spot. but I dont have a wideband to tune my car with yet so im stuck just doing guess work. the colbalts do not impress me. they are boosted yet only putting out like 220 HP to the crank.

                            LSD only help in corners by putting power to both wheels instead of peg-legging it around a corner, more traction in other words.....w/o LSD, in a corner, your tranny transfers power to the least traction'd wheel(SUX HUH???)

                            going str8, its all the same, LSD or not.....

                              ok... yeah my 4 speed tranny didn't do to good .. but anyways.. i can't wait for the nitrous because he has a great pull and with the f22 tranny and the vtec engangement at 5100 is great. i did a little test drive saturday with the setup and got a couple of bmw with his car since they were running their mouths with my car so i go and get trickedaccords car since he was at work and gave them a different attitude when I passed them. little to say is that i love a honda.. !!! well.. posting a couple of pics of our collection of hondas.. ours.. wives.. and project cars. !!
