yesterday just driving alone went to churches chicken to get something to eat for the family ya know and then next thing you know it I spot a nice looking Z28. alright we were at the stop light and All i got my gansta rap on but nothing to loud or noticable. alright. we going down beach street in all (ft worth) he I changed lanes and then i cut in front of him in 5th gear going about 45 mph. then he gets next to me and guns it. I downshift to 2nd gear. BAWWWWWWWWWW then to 3rd then 4th. I going about 100+ down beach street head to head with the Z28. he was pulling on me but stayed neck and neck somewhat he was about a foot ahead. he looked at me and shaked his head like naw your 4banger is not going to beat me. so then i looked back and smiled then he was still looking like i wasn;t going anywhere in my CB. then I did a peace sign, he was like wtf and looked at his friend. so then DUECES shot my 75 shot of ZEX Dry kit and ate like 3 -5 car lenghts. then comes up the other street and I make a turn towards the crib. ANother win for the CB woot woot

Most of them run 13's stock.

My friend who now has an LS2 GTO had one that was considered one of the quicker stock ones, and he ran a 13.4.

no.....not happening.

LS1's are ultra-powerful....theres no way you 'kept up' with an Ls1.

I had a turbocharged Ls/Vtec on 15 PSI and I had trouble hanging with a Stock SS.

Z28 and SS do not go together. BOth emblems are different. I have only seen the SS designation on camaros that are SS no Z28 in front. Z28 was made through 93-97 or whatever. I dont know the dates but they were the early 90s.

The Z28 was made up to the end of the production run.

The SS had the hood scoop and SS badges. It also had more power.

In fact they were underrated from the factory as they put down about the same as a C5 Corvette which was rated a 345HP.

i can personally say that i also beat a 01' camero ss @ sac-raceway with my zexified 92 h22 accord-got time slips to prove it. good kill bro show those v-8's wasup!
