    Got beat by a turbo Civic

    Not looking good... I was headed to some training class for work this morning and I happened upon an EG Civic. Traffic was in the way so the best I could do was get behind him at a light, and when he took off I couldn't keep up. He turned off at a light and gave me the thumbs up... oh well

    I'm waiting to come across something B18C equipped...

        i dont know either it feels good to beat one though for some reason for the hype that they get no offense.I ran a zo6vette with the h22 no contest for him that is.

          i think its the fact that its the car everyone wants next to a civic and thinks is so fast. but then it gets owned by a family car. an accord. thats got to hurt the pride somewhere. lol.

          i know i got happy when i beat a '94-96 integra. it was an integra. that was my main focus. i beat an integra. think about the 1st car you beat when you were driving your accord.

            I thought they ran high 14s w/ I/H/E...

            And it's just funny to beat people in a grandma's car. Civics/Integras are SUPPOSED to be fast.

                          LOL!

                          Not all Civics are created equal.

                          There are some boosted Civics putting down 170 or so WHP, and then there are some putting down well over 400WHP reliably.

                          Obviously, there will be a big difference in capability.

                          But properly driven, even one of the weaker ones should be able to give you some kind of run, simply due to weight.

                          There isn't much difference between an EG coupe and a CB necessarily, but there is between a hatchie and a CB7.

                          Mine weighed in right at 2000lbs, and it has run a 15.2 with a stock non-VTEC D16.

                            No. Actually I meant 200. It was made out of carbon fiber and moon dust.
