Real jap on jap action this time

So Im goin to walmart to get breakfast. Theres a street that merges into the road to walmart and out of nowhere when I pass it Ive got these blue headlights practically touching my bumper. As luck would have it, the light just ahead turns red..
So I come to a stop in the left lane and this mid/late 20sish guy in a slammed 6th gen Civic with ebay projectors, a black bumper and gauges on the a pillar pulls up in the right. I could hear his exhaust over mine just idling..sigh.. Turns out neither a pillar gauge was there to measure boost.
Light turns green.
At this point Im still laughing at the riceness of the car and the driver, so Im not gonna bother racing him cuz I already have a pretty good idea of what would happen. So I start off in first like any normal person would..well..like I would when Im not racing..gas halfway down. I shift into second around 3k and Im hearing his shit screaming. Into second I go and I hear a chirp right next to my open window and I think "no you dont." I floor it and were door to door til that magical 5000 rpm of mine.

Shortly after this point, the race was most definitely over and won.

It was silver, but if it was boosted...thats just incredibly sad on his part considering we were door to door before my engine even made power.

why. you know most of those civic guys buy the whole turbo kit off a company. thats like 4500 grand for a turbo. so im thinking they wouldnt have the money to spend on that unless they did it before they went turbo.
