cb7(h22a4) vs rx8

so i was driving down 441 and this rx8 is just tailgating me. so i slow up and SHE pulls up. so i tell her to turn down her radio and i say u wanna race, shes like yea. so i said listen if i beat you i get your phone number, she smiles. like turns green, we start driving, all of a sudden she takes off without even blowing her horn so i drop 5th to 2nd(45 mph). now i playing catch up. so soon as i hit 4th i passed her about a car and then i just kept pulling her. Then i remembered damn, i forgot to get her number, lol. then i thought oh well, i dont need her number cuz i already "beat" her ass. lol.

Depends what the h22 has done to it. With just the basic i.h.e the rx8 would take it, not by much though. With a little more added I think the h22 would stand a very good chance.

I beat an RX-8 on the track by over a second... and I had a bad 15+ second run! That particular one was ass-slow... but they have the potential to be 14.xx second cars bone stock, if driven properly (probably not the autos, though...)

well yes she was fine as hell. and all i have done to my h is ebay intake, 9lb flywheel(act), 2 1/2 piping with the obx twin loop and a phearable.net chip. oh, and ebay ceramic headers

RX8's are slow, but nice kill none the less!

A 6sp man has a 0-60 of 5.9 sec, qtr of 14.5 sec C&D professional drivers. Rotaries also get "faster" as they are broken in. Realistically if that was a new RX8, with less than 10-15k miles its only running ~7-7.5sec 0-60.

Regardless, I don't think cb7's w/ only h22 swaps would win heads up against a 6sp that was driven correctly. An auto equipped rx8 is obviously much more likely. RX8's aren't exactly drag queens but are damn quick track cars (.91 lateral g)
