    Downshifting and pedals.

Anyone use a after market pedal set to help them down shift? My feet are kinda big and its weird to get a angle to heel-toe properly. It just feels like the pedals are to far apart and the faces are offset to much. If I wear my wider sneakers its alright but its still weird to get the angle.

Just wondering if anyone uses aftermarket pedals that help them heel-toe down shift. Im sure if I had a lower after market seat it be easier to rotate my foot more, but I dont have the cash to drop on a new seat.

Nope its easy for me. And my feet are 11.5. I do it just fine and you dont need to angle it much at all.

Everything was alright until I got a new pair of shoes lol, these have a skinnier sole and in between the pedals sometimes :/. Thats why I was wondering about the aftermarket pedals, I know some of em are designed to help you heel-toe. Just wondering if anyone uses em. OR I could just wear my worn out adi classics again.

11.5 is my size too :O.

idk im 6' 5", not super tall, but my knee hits the console sometimes, thats what I mean by it feels weird. Maybe I should play with adjusting the seat more.

i wear adidas tuscany gp's and racer low's (i love that style) and i can heel-toe a little bit. i do it by turning my foot sideways. im just using the stock pedals with the pads taken off and polished (will soon have grip-tape). i think aftermarket pedals could do some good, but i dont know.

heel-toe is only a saying....u need some really small feel to actually operate the break with the toes and the accelerator with the heel...

most ppl just do the toe-toe method....big toe side breaking while small toe side accelerating.

I just move my foot... I can't do the heel-toe or toe-toe, but I've gotten fast enough, at least for my purposes, to not need it.

Toe-toe over here. Sometimes with chucks I can sort of get the heal part but not quite. I hear racing bucket seats help out.

                        We have bucket seats already!

And yeah, Chucks make it easier... that's all I wear.

Try flip flops, so hard to even drive right. Fast shifts are a not so good... hah. But yeah, I've been working on toe-toe. Seems easier than heel-toe to me.
