lol many reasons..1/ idk where the hell the nearest one is where i live 2/ Im too noobish still /3 Car still got problems (BUMP) 4/ my Cb LOOKS in bad shape also 5/ I ONLY have the Autozone intake (LOL, shutup), /6 and STILL noobish!

..and heh i guess THEY DO consider US as rivals instead. Cuz THEY'RE the ones that either Rev or look and mock us when im right beside them at a light...AND YESS i know about my intake...but i dont really see what the difference is between air filters..just thier look to me. I mean some are ridiculously around $150, why? Im referring only about SHORT RAMS. I know cold air intakes makes a lil more difference. But im asking about short ram difference.

I have raced both types in the past but you gotta remember the game has changed and everyones swapping so watch out. You might just meet a sleeper....lol

yea, its funny too when you think about it..Most that i raced aren't even the same year range as our cbs...that should tell them something ya know?

Um I don't know I've raced neons and ricer civics and beat them. Not something I do on the regular I haven't pushed my car in a while. And from what I see you have a dx, you're not really making that much more power than a neon, if your engine is stock. I think it is.

Not much power...but i tried to make my cb as light as i could...HEHE makes a Good damn difference!

We older , more mature drivers have learned along the way when we were younger and naive ( dumb )....my last races ( 2 )...was with my black Accord ...

1) Raced a 3.4 DOHC V6 Pontiac Grand Prix...that fucker took me from a dig...but in the mid to high..I hung with him! nose to nose!

2) this chick with a 98 Cavalier Z24 ( DOHC 2.4L ) left me...and I mean BADLY...gear for gear this woman raped me...and all I could do was applaud her on her great driving..and give her a thumbs up! ..and come to find out...it was this chick that I work with.. I never knew this chick had racing blood going through her veins!

and those were the last races for me!

just be careful about those DOHC Cavaliers and Neons..you never know what that person has done to em! like the Neons...they have a nasty assortment of boost goodies from Hahn Racing! ...just be careful..because even the SOHC neons with those Hahn turbos will sprinkle alot of other cars!

people thats not too keen on Neons..the head is turned around ...so from a quick glimpse...you may not see the turbo..you have to look between the head and firewall..thats where the exhaust mani is!..

so be aware of your opponent!!

racing for me...is on a halt...until I can get all the goodies I want!...im just playing it safe..and slow...FOR NOW!

to be a good tuner....you have to also learn of the other cars that you have chosen as your personal " rival " you can't look at a car and say ...I can beat that...because you may be in for a BIG disappointment! so learn more about the aftermarket toys thats available for the other cars...and learn MORE about the cb7 you drive...learn every rpm shift...get the feel of your cb7...with or without mods..and you should be golden on your own terms!
