first time at the track

Like title says...first time at track...(englistown raceway park)...fun expereince...here are some vids and pics of the time slips

1990 ex 4 door full interior f22a4 5 spd
mods:sr1, ebay header, stock cat, 2.25 inch piping, and stock muffler....and i always have er well maintained and tuned up but shes pretty stock

i gotta learn to launch better
i had the flu
no consistency due to so much time between runs cause so many cars were there
i will return in spring with some more mods to run again

kinda tough to see the slip but was a 16.94

You won the 3rd run because he broke out. He dialed a 15.80 and ran a 15.798... In other words, he went too fast (by 2/1000 of a second!)

Pretty good runs though!

Not bad 1/4 mile time but i think you should be in the low 16s..With all that mods..

probly should ...i needed more practice...but i was kinda proud cause there were 2 other cb7's running that day and one was running 17's and the other 18's

keep going at it,times will get better.but i still think u should gotin a better time then that with all them mods , i had a 91 a1 automatic engine with exhaust and intake and got a 16.5 my best time ,so u should be gettin better time maybe try doing a tune up and changing that fuel filter and some super with some fuel injector cleaner little extra octane im sure u will be doing low 16's

i think i just need more practice...cause within the last year i have done sparkplugs,wires,new dizzy,cap,rotor, fuel fileter,clutch,timingbelt/waterpump,pcv,vlave adjustment,motor/tranny oil changes...and lots of other maintenance...trust me i know how to properly maintain my car



as far as mods...i dont have much....short ram intake...other tahn that i have 2.25 inch exhaust piping but i put a stock muffeler(so it gets choked out at the end) and stock cat....with an ebay header...Like i said i tink i did good for my first time..(considering 2 other cbs were running 17 and 18 seconds)..my launches coulda been better cause i spun first gear...next time i will aim for like 16.4 ball park

also no consistency due to 3 hours betewwen runs doesnt help
