Busted!!!!!!

on monday i have to go to court for racing to. Even though i wasnt racing, but i was near the area. I got some good proof though that i wasnt racing. I got the ticket at 1:08am and i have a gas station charge at 1:03am which is about 2mi for where i got pulled over, so i want them to tell me how i was racing in about 4mins and driving 2mi from the gas station. Also he gave me a ticket for driving without me lights, which is a lie, low dragging muffler? ii beat that already, also not signaling. And to top it off he gave me a parking ticket during the stop for pulling ova.

damn...cops for some reason, dont like Import vehicles..(Honda, toyota, Nissan..etc..etc )..anything lowered and NOT a domestic..they just find something to pull you over on!

weird, i got cought racing "Sleepycb7" on here, a good friend of mine, when he was driving "Cmak"s car, he went to jail for driving while suspended, his 20th offence, and i went home with a $80 speed contest...

also, what year protege? i had a 91 lx with a 323 GTX turbo.

us1 is a bad place to race.

best place would be on a highway with walls on both sides so no cop can hide.

mine was a 97 2gen 5 speed droped with an intake and rims i didnt do 2 much 2 it

that sounds pretty fishy, like you got baited into racing by a narc/cop. how hard would it be to take a seized modified import, have a narc drive it and find modified imports to provoke and have a cop ready to catch you red handed. this and the danger you impose on other motorists and yourself is why street racing is stupid but nonetheless seems to be one of those things that is blown out of proportion by the media to divert attention from bigger and arguably more pressing issues.

It sucks when you aren't really a racer, and you get nailed for one lapse of judgement. Of course, it also sucks when you aren't really a racer and you crash...

93twodoorLX got pulled over once for racing when he wasn't doing anything. The jerk next to him was driving like an ass, and the cop thought they were racing. Of course, he went after the car with the loud exhaust... He got out of it, thankfully.

I'll race on the streets occasionally. I know a few areas that rarely have cops. If there are cops at those places, they're easy to spot (no hiding places). I never take it TOO far over the limit (I'll back off, consider it a win, and let the other guy pass after a point...) Still, I admit it's dumb. I can get to Atco Raceway in half an hour, and it costs a whopping $13 to race. It's easy enough to pair up with someone you want to race against there as well.

Ya thats wat the cop said he was like " i can tow ur car and have 2 spend that night in jail but am not going to because am in a good mood...." but if he was in a good mood he could have let me go ....
