I got my info from the door sticker of a V6 Charger. Gross weight stated 5400 lbs. The local police force had it on display. Police package is likely different.
Anything is possible when you don't know what your talking about............

yea...edmunds must be trippin nowadays I'm sure this is probably the charger that mike ran. Even the rt is under 4100. I think what you need to look at is CURB weight. That took all of 30seconds.

Yes..i love the bouncy smilie lol. If i could, i'd put it in my avatar or under my name lol

the Gross weight is the maximum loaded weight.

The curb weight is the weight of the car itself.

Curb weight plus load weight = gross weight.

I smoked one of the new chargers before. I was driving my 1985 nissan maxima (3.0 V6) comming back from a day of fishing and I was sitting at the gas station about 20 or so miles from anchorage and got in my car and started it up ( i had completely removed my exhause from the cat back) and sounded gnarly because I had to hold the gas alittle when I started it. The charger next to me in the parking lot started his car and reved it, So I reved again and pulled on to the highway with the charger on my butt, so i sped up and he kept on my butt so I floored it untell my dying autotransmission wouldnt shift into overdrive in 4th. The charger kept up most of the way tell its starts getting twisty along the coast line and he gave up trying to keep up.

So in a nearly 20 year old nissan with a dying auto transmission and blown struts ( one of witch would actualy fall down outta the fenderwell when jacked up) and bad timing beat a brandnew charger. Every time he would try n pass me when it went to 2 lanes he couldnt do it. I guess It was a v6 he had, I never saw the back of his car so I wouldnt know. Im not very impressed with the chargers, look nice except the back doors, thats the worst looking line on a car in along time, except maybe the Chrystler 300m. I think dodge needs more 2 door cars. ive seen neons do better.
I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.
