    WRX couldn't "shake" me

Well when i got on the Merrit PKWY headin home from class a scubby was in the left lane passing me and my lane was goin slow as shittttt... so i hopped on the lane behind him and was plannin tryin to fuck with him... he only had rims from what i saw, no exhaust or anything... so as soon as traffic opened up in the right lane him and i both hopped on it and i downshifted to 4th at around 65mph and about 3300rpms, and i was easily keepin up with him at like 1/2 throttle... i could tell he was on it cause he kept accelerating pretty steady but i couldnt hear shit over my open wastegate dump tube lol... so we just kept goin back and forth between traffic and i was pretty easily accelerating on him too... at like 80 i was mashin it to trhe floor in 4th and i was like 3 cars behind... 2 cars behind, then right on his bumpewr in about 3 seconds, like it was nothin... i was only on the highway for about 5 miles then i had to exit, but he knew my car wasn't as slow as he originally thought it was lolol...

so for anyone that doesnt knowq my setup: 92 CB7 coupe EX with F22A6 motor, stock bottom end, milled(45thousanths over) cyl. head with upgraded single valve springs, A1 manifold (cause i had ZERO bottom end with the A6 and open runners since the turbo is a lil too big for a stock motor), the turbo is a Garrett T3/T04E in a 60 trim and .60 A/R compressor housing and a newly installed .48 A/R turbine housing down from my old .63 housing. Let me say this about that, boost comes on about 6-700rpm sooner and even harder and im at full boost (10psi) by 3700rpms and i start to see it at likr 2800, in 3rd gear this is... and it does NOT choke out the motor at all in the top end as was projected by a few ppl... so yeah, its pretty damn quick compared to my previous setups but still not fast enough... but i'm also in the process of a full motor build w/ an H23 head, so she'll hold me down till i put together and install that motor lol...

Yeah it was fun... i mean i drive pretty "spirited" as they say, but i dont often really get a chance to get on it with any real benefit like that so it was very invigorating! (if thats how you spell it lol)

thats not a big turbo, thats just a decent sized one.
thats actually the smallest id ever go on an f22. whats the trim on the turbine wheel?
            nice kill.

.82a/r turbine with stage 3 wheel, 60 trim compressor with .72a/r is big. I plan on getting something along those lines. go big or go home

yeah but thats the thing though Will it be off the line or straightaway. Because off the line a smaller turbo would be a killer. On the highway it wont be so bad the spool up time is there but then again it needs slightly more top end rev to actually make more of a benefit from it. once it starts to spool youll end up having to shift as quick as the power comes up making the turbo less effective.

A word of advice: Just because the back end of the exhaust is stock, doesn't mean the front is. The front is what really matters.
