H22a vs. Mx6 turbo

H22 mod list: lsd tranny, type s header & downpipe, short ram intake

mx6 mod list: 15psi, chipped ecu, intercooler, upgraded blow off valve, magnaflow exhaust, drag radials, running on race gas....

So when I show up at his house I see him pouring in some race gas and in my head I'm thinking great I'm gonna get killed already and he still has to do stuff like race gas and taking his subs out....ah well so i asked for car lengths and he said sure no problem....When we left his house to take off to our race spot he took off real hard and my buddy looks over and was like holy shit your dead...

As we lined up I yelled at him and said screw giving me cars lets race heads up...And of course he starts getting cocky...So when my buddies arms dropped I took off with a lot of wheel spin (first time launching with h22 lsd tranny...had f22 tranny before) and I lost by about 2 cars. At the end he says he screwed up going into second gear so lets go again, of course i said sure no problem knowing i could do better.

We lined up again this time i launched and pulled ahead a bit...each gear i went through he gained a bit until i lost by at most a car length.. When I got out he didnt look happy(guess he thought he should have killed me) and all my friends were freaking at how close it was considering how unfair it was, I was happy with the outcome but still I know I could do better....

Help me out with some options because i'm racing him again in the near future because I know with a little more work I can beat him...

Keep in mind i have stock exhaust stock ecu well....stock everything I was thinking about starting with an exhaust Y pipe cutout and a chipped p28...chime in with opinions

Cams and open up your exhaust to atleast 2.5", Hondata S200 system, dyno tuning.

damn goo race imean if im not mistaken the Mx-6 ccame with the 200hp KLZE motor15psi and still hanged with him damn.and he wuz usin race gas damn if he was on 91 octane he would be watchin your tailights. u got some skills get 2 BFG T/A KDW's and the basic I/H/E try getting a p28 ecu and tune on that also wut clutch r u using??? why wont you just believe someone when they post a story. if they lie and post it just to see people's reactions, just let them enjoy you being all impressed at some story some stupid immature kid made up. but, given the fact that the guy missed 2nd on the first run, perhaps he isnt the world's best driver. hmm, didnt think about that, did you?
granted. i think that it must be untuned or something must seriously be wrong, but then again, the h22 isnt a slouch, and the LSD gearing is pretty short, and the LSD itself helps get a great launch. you read it same as i did, he gets the jump with the help of the LSD, then he gets reeled in. no mention of how long they raced, so it was probably a pretty short distance comparably to a race from a roll. all you need to do is get one car gaining positive distance steadily on the other.

The problem is that immature kids lack the knowledge to write a believable story. Half the threads posted in this section have more holes than swiss cheese.

But, yes, the car may have been untuned and the guy may have royally sucked at driving. I just expect a shit ton more from those supposed mods.

I have been in his car and I've watched the boost gauge and I definetely saw 15 psi when he got on the gas and like I said I honestly thought I would get killed and hey apparently I psyched myself out because I wasnt that far behind anyway there are always variables in every race that give someone else a bigger advantage or cause the faster car to run slower but i know his setup and I know mine is almost 100% stock and i stuck real close to him
