my cb7 vs. b16 ek coupe

well saturday night i raced my boy on our way to the bowling alley... ...he got a 96 civic coupe, w/ a jdm b16, lsd 5 speed tranny...header/intake/full ws2 apexi cat back exhaust, me jdm h22, lsd auto tranny, and a p28 chipped by carlos(wikkedv16 ) stock jdm header w/ downpipe,...anyways we were at a red light and he was yoo lets run it and since i swapped the engine i wanted to race a b16 since they like to talk crap...so i was like iight...we went fron a 20mph roll....i heard him punched it first so i was like lets do this..i punched mine vtec kicked in (at 4,500 rpm's) then i heard his (5,500 rpm's)...dat thing its mad loud, we chirp tires at the same time(from first to second)...as soon as he shift to third i was gone ..beat him by 2 1/2 cars... ....im very happy with the results of my swap my car is running hard, he was like damnn Abdiel dat thing hauls ass! cant wait to get i/h/e...

yeah they do talk alot of sh#t. i have an auto h22 w/o lsd in my wagon. i went up agaist a co-worker that had like a late 90's model ex civic coupe. we started at like a 25-30 roll and i had him by ike 1-1/2 lengths by the time vtec kicked in. once vtec hit it was over. i looked in my rear view and he was back like 1/8 of a mile after 8-10seconds. i think i was at like 70+mph by then. i had to stop to let him catch up. i had to get him. sad thing about it is that his girl was in the car with him and she ragged on him for a week he told me. aww you got beat by a wagon blah blah. i couldn't do nothing but laugh.

aww man thats the worse when your girl is in the car and then you race and to top it off lose shell haunt your ass so that why i aint racing until i get my h22 so when shes in the car and i do race i wont be disapointed and she wont talk shit

lol, i hear ya. i won't have done it without an h22. my ride is like 3300lbs compared to the sedan what 2800lbs. i get alot of v6's and v8's that pull up to me an wanna run. i am like, now shit man, of course your gonna spank me. i have a four banger in a heavy as car with less torque and horsepower as them. no one cares to look at the power to weight ratio. in other words i have gotten own a couple of times. but even as an auto, the h22 is still kicks as though. i am sure i'd love lsd with it. i chirped and spin everytime i floor it at red light.
