A few pics from the Auto-x this Sat.

Hey, My school's car club sets these up, so all cars run in the same class, and obviously not as strict. There are many cars out there, only one civic, but I always have a good time. My car is going back to stock, so stock height, and cheaper tires meant for a slower time, but its all good. Im not sure how I placed yet, but besides the wrx, 2.5rs impreza, ae86(who set the whole thing up) I should be in the top 5. Well heres some pics. I'll hook ya up w/more when I get extra time, and homework gets done.

My bumper light is hanging out on those pics... I had to drive on the soccer field when my girl almost broke her knee, and I kinda drove through a little makeshift fence in the spur of the moment kinda thing. It broke off the little clip that the screw goes into. Totally forgot about it.









Im hoping the smoke was from it being cold. Its never smoked before, and it was about 35 degrees out.

Yeah, stock height. I have a 91 coupe in the garage waiting till about july to become my new car. There were about 25-30 cars that ran. Some that were classed w/me were: celica, saturns, fiero, miata, porsche, bmw's, golf r32, eclipse, 300zx, v6 stang, lude, neon, cavaliers and civic.

The president of the club owns a ~2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs sedan. It was real nice, and I now have my goals set on getting one for graduation. He placed in nationals I beleive w/it. Handles better than the wrx's i rode in.

Check my member page... I picked up a great condition 91 coupe that I am going to be having now. This car will be sold when I get the other one all ready to roll. All aftermarket and reasonably new stuff will be going from the sedan to coupe(including the rotor over hub brakes.) It should be done the beginning of July, cuz im in college till then.

Oh, that's cool. I feel ya about the college thing ... I'm in the same situation. My car will be done performance wise in July too.

That's pretty sweet that your schools' car club is doing all this...my buddy has a 99 2.5 RS and when he auto x's he regularly hangs on with the rexes...proves its not the car, its the driver (unless it's the 360 modena race car i saw that came to the track haha)

Yeah, the president of the club has a 2.5rs... guessing 99-00. He was pretty high up in states/nationals, just got an offer to race a type r for his friend that he is building in the honda challenge. there is also another guy w/sti sponsored by tire rack, then theres the good ole AE86 w/azenis..sticks like crazy. Its fun though, another one this sat, so hopefully more pics!

Bringing this back from the dead with some new autocross pics. That sedan has been gone for quite a while, and now its the coupes turn, although gotta fix rod bearings now. Then we'll see if its sold or stays..

Anyways, (only ran front khumos because I was told that the other set, with hoosiers were not allowed in my class), would have been running all 4 this weekend, but rod bearings > racing.

You betchya it is, was soo looking forward to running the event this weekend with the full set of wheels, since these made the cb7 a drift car. But we'll see whats going on in January. This course was actually a pretty fast course, as I was hitting vtec in 3rd gear (4500), so 60-70 in some spots.

If I am still doing it then, I will hopefully be able to make inside vids at least, and maybe a side mounted video.

Well the first pics(sedan) were from when I was at Kettering University in Michigan(Worthless school). I found that when I was looking for other pics I posted of autocrossing, so figured I would just bump that thread.

Im now down in ft. myers area. I autocross at Gulf Coast Autocrossers.

If you check this site http://www.autocrossforum.com/forums/ it should have some info for Orlando area autocrosses, which would be a little more local for you I think. ALTHOUGH, the setup that we have down here is second to none in FL, with a great test and tune day and novice school on saturdays, and mile long course on sundays. There are people that come from all over FL just for the events. Events are the first weekend of each month. www.gulfcoastautocrossers.com will have more info.

If you come once though, be prepared to be hooked.
