What the best time a h22 accord can run. I was dissapointed when a blue h22 accord ran a 15.1. There was no seat and stuff in it. I was expecting a mid 14. I might not do a swap if it in the 15's. anybody know if it something wrong with his accord or know who got any better time.

I'll give you an example and then I'll shut up. The 03 Cobra runs a 13.1 1/4 mile time bone stock. The way it rolls off the assembly line it can run a 13.1. I saw an 03 Cobra here with full aftermarket exhaust, chip, 273 super charger pulley, intake, and clutch and it ran a 13.4 then I saw a bone stock, nothing done to it 03 Cobra roll up and it pulled a 12.80.
It's all in the driver.

all in the driver as stated above. Yea know, a 15.1 isn't bad at all even if he had i/h/e on the h22a. Our cars are slightly heavier than preludes and with the addition of a heavier engine the best i've seen is like a 15.3 by just slapping a h22a in a cb7Knowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word

comparing a 390hp, 390 tq supercharged V8 to a h22 accord is . When i had just a cold air intake and a rear section exhaust full interior i was running 14.8's easy. It just depends on the drivers skill, and track conditions. You can gut the hell out of any car and still run a shitty time.

I stated the 03 Cobra off the assembly line runs a 13.1, That's from Ford's own mouth. Some intependent magazines have it running a 12.9 at around a buck ten. Who cares what it runs on slicks that's not the point I was tring to make. If anything you didn't correct me, you reinforced my point about how important a good driver is.
About an H22A being a waste of money again your dead ass wrong. Let's say an H22 cost 2K. With let's say 3 grand you take a car that runs anywhere from a 16.8 up to a 17.1 down into low 15's (for an unexperianced driver) to mid to hig 14's for someone that can handle the car.
That's taking two+ full seconds off the cars stock time for around 3 grand.
Now tell me what other car (other then a 1st/2nd gen DSM) can you shave two seconds off for under 3 grand without going N2O and maintain the level of reliability of a Honda?!
You may consider it a waste of money and that's your own opinion but the fact remains that your forth gen is going to be slower then everybody elses forth gen with an H22. And if you wana be fast in a forth gen then swapping an H22A in there is one of the ways to accomplish it quickly, inexpensively, and reliably.

I am correcting you because every article I've read and every person I've talked to that has one has pulled off 12's stock. Factory ratings have been wrong regarding horsepower on recent cars like the rx8 and srt4 so how does that make it unreasonable to say they are a little off on their quarter mile time. Within two months my car will be faster than pretty much every swapped accord out there with the exception of 2point6 maybe so I'll just let my times speak for themselves. Most of all my car will be faster than yours. You are definitely going to eat those words lol ... You will be the first person I show the video and time slips to.

Now if you where to flip that around to say your faster then those I've built and help build or tune then that would be a different story. People who know me personally know about all the F- Bodies, C4's, C5's, Kenne Bell 03 Cobras, Hybrid imports, and everything else I've done over the 11 years I've been working in this field. And they all know what I and those vehicles can do, I don't need to prove anything to anyone.
Now going back and fourth about who's faster then who turns this into a pissing contest. Show me what you want. I know what I HAVE and what I've DONE. I don't have to talk about how fast I'm going to be. I'm this fast now. But in the furture I will be faster weather it be in this car or another.

I don't doubt you can do that and that you know your stuff. You pretty much always know what you are talking about even though you are rude a lot of the time. You brought that comment on yourself though by saying swapped accords are always going to be faster than mine. I don't like to speak outside of what I have either and that's why I'm saying within two months. I know what kind of money I have right now, what parts I have ordered, and what all will be getting done to it then, but past that I don't know... so I was just referring to my plans that are in action right now not what all I want to do.

About my comment it just plain came out wrong and I'm sick of typing about this shit. I think we can put the sword fight to rest now.
I do want to see what you have in store, what you run, and what you've done. This is community for us to share our intrests aswell as our differences. I'm not bashing anyone here, tring to infer any superiority, or for that fact of the matter be faster then anyone. If anything I'm tring to give everyone good advice on how to fix problems or get faster, even if it is faster then me.
Sometimes I just get caught up in discussions.
