An h22 will improve your times but you gotta get used to driving it hard . Most of your skills will have to be relearned with the h22. With an lsd youll have a slightly easier times jsut as long as the setup is right.

I ran 16.9 three times with my AUTO f22a1 and SR/muffler running full synthetic. About a good 90* plus out and I could feel my car wasn't running as fast as it has before. You have a stick you should be able to get a bit more. Depending on your milage a good cleaning of the intake manifold for buildup might really help cause you should have no prob beating my time even stock. Just work on it you'll get there step by step.

damn i feel slow now lol. Yea i m gonna put on the H23 manifold this week and do a oil change and a new K&N filter. I think the reason i went so slow was because i waited till redline to shift. So i probably wasted time in that upper RPM area where the f22a4 hits a wall. I m gonna practice and see what i can get the next time i go. Anyone have any pointers?

lol it's aight yeah don't shift past 6k on an f-series you lose power and bog down your engine when your car goes to the next gear. 6.6k=bad and you really chance breaking stuff. Start running some synthetic but don't go cold turkey all synthetic cause suddenly cleaning everything out and the same gunk that slowed down your engine just happened to be keeping your seals in shape. Depending on the milage if you are higher and go straight syn can = smoking a bit. I alternate oils between changes and it's worked great for me after a few uses my car does seem to run smoother.
