raced some jackass in a ranger.

just let me start off by saying yea i know it's a ford ranger and it's slow but read the story.

so i'm on my way back from dropping my girlfriend off and i'm driving normal on the highway with the window down, just enjoying the fresh air or whatever, then some jackass in a ranger comes flying up behind me and pulls to the passing lane and starts tailgating the person in front of him...we're talking about close to a foot away. for no reason too, the guy he was tailgating was probably doing about 70-ish. then he pulls to the travelling lane and the dude in the ranger floors it and starts tailgating the next person in front of him, so that person pulls over, and i'm watching him tailgate person after person after person. so i just got pissed off because i hate pricks like that so i gunned it and gave him a taste of his own medicine and tailgated him for a good mile or so. then he pulls to the next lane and guns it so then i shifted to 3rd and wasted him, then he starts tailgating me and trails me for a good mile or so then pulls up beside me and we stayed like that for a bit then he shot off and i once again shifted to 3rd and wasted him then threw my hazards on just to piss him off. and he got behind me then got off the next exit.

usually i don't get road rage over drivers doing asshole things to other drivers that aren't me but i hate shitbags that tailgate like that, there's absolutely no reason for it and no matter what people who do it look like fucking pricks so fuck them.

Yeah I almost had a run in with a Dodge RAM the other night. I was barreling down the 2 lane rural road at about 70 and then came up on this dude in a Ram going 50. No passing zone in sight and it was dark. Then the road I needed to turn on was coming up so I turn, and he turned too. This road now is straighter and has a 55 mph limit. He is still doing 50. We come to a passing zone, I drop to 3rd and get up to about 70, then I notice his headlights coming closer and closer, so I start flooring it to prevent him running me off the road. I look down and I am doing 95 on this rough ass road, and I need to turn in a 1/4 mile to go to my friend's house. So I pop out of gear and throw on the blinker. Take the turn at 25, really wide, good thing nobody was there. And now in about a 1/2 mile is the small residential road that my friend lives on. I accelerate to about 55, but the ram is just going faster, goes to pass, and I slow down in fear of him running me off the road, and lay down on the horn. He goes around the curve and I turn. Go to my friend's and a few minutes later we hear a big truck hauling ass going the opposite way that I was going. I figured it was the same guy looking for me.

Moral of the story, some people get really angry when you pass them.

Something like that happened to my bro. Must've been an off duty cop and his cop looking buddy/co-worker in a Ranger speeding because the driver flashed his badge at my bro when he caught up with the Ranger. My bro took off.

Anytime some idiot (most of the time it's a kid) tailgates me something wicked i slow up to 5mph under the speed limit, then tap my brakes. if the fool still tailgates me i speed up to bout 5 over speed limit and then slam on brakes, then keep going. few people havefollowed me close after i pull that. it is the last resort that i rarely have to do. but i hate drivers that are up your ass like they have nothing better to do bc they are late to go to the club or get their drugs or w/e. grrrr if they still tailgate, i call the cops and report them bc we can't have dangerous fools do that on the road. can't tell u how many peope i have reported for either extreme tailgating or very aggressive/dangerous driving. yes i even report street racers! u do not street race on a busy highway, u do not street race on a neighborhood road and u certainyl DO NOT STREET RACE NEAR A ELEMENTARY SCHOOL if ur going to be a dangerous driver, do it on a empty road so if u get into an accident u only harm yourself.

thats how INNOCENT people gets hurt...they drive WRECKLESSLY..in residential streets..and DONT know how to control their car...

when I race...its on a EMPTY deserted street....or Id put up some loot at the track....but usually..on a LONG stretch of highway..AWAY from the city...like an Interstate BETWEEN states. ...is when I usually push it over 100 mph....but other than that....I keep it around 70 on the main city highways ( 65mph limit ) Ohio has a 5 mph overture!...so 70mph it is

I guess thats why they are so strict in a lot of areas about guns. Not trying to bash on you or anything. I would probably be the first to do something after that. Even if it wasn't my kid. there just isn't a reason for it.

but in situations like that asshole, i usually try to block them in best i can and force them to slow down. Ill watch and enjoy them getting pissed as they cant do anything about it. nowhere to go. i have gotten a couple thumbs up from others after that too.
