Killed me a fellow CB7

I stopped at a light and then this kid with a CB7 pulled up next to me. We were both at the front of the line. He got every thing going on his car, rims, loud ass muffler, spoiler, etc. I noticed him trying to get my attention by revving up his engine. So i gave him a rev of my engine and a head nod. So I put my car in first gear and scanned ahead for potential hazards. Light turned green. My car peeled out all the way to third gear(No, it's not that it has bad tires). By that time i was already ahead of him by at least 4 cars and he was still trying to catch up. His engine/muffler sounded as if it just wants to blow up. Im guessing his car is auto. I stopped WOT after i had about an 8 car lead. He got no idea what he's messing with. Sleeper cars are the way to go!!

Edit: I forgot to include this info in the beginning and it caused some confusion. This is not about "my" car. I was driving a 93 EX owned by me and three other friends, it's a group project car. But still, "my" car would smoke that guy.

Well if you have a 1992 DX (as your name implies) you have like a 125hp or 130hp. If the guy you raced has an 1990-1991 DX or LX he has an 125hp engine also. So you raced him and beat him.

i had a similar encounter a couple weeks ago.. a green cb7 sedan, loud muffler as well, a typical "queens" wannabe racer in the driver's seat. anyway, we're both at the light, he's revving up, and i'm just sitting comfortably in my friend's A4 1.8t while my friend and i are just laughing to ourselves. light turns green, he takes off w/ his tires screeching and all. i ease out of 1st, pushed 2nd going to 3rd and passed that ugly ass cb7 as if it was standing still. i stuck out my left hand giving him the
