All the awd has on both parts is the launch. After that the gs-t is actually faster than the gsx. Same as the R32 and a 1.8t gti. The R32 has a nasty nasty launch but down the line around 100 the gti will come back.
even an auto g35 should pull away from an h22a accord..my low 14 second h22a accord wouldn't keep up with them......they've got like 40% more power, more rubber, more torque, more aerodynamically sound, etc........not a lot of reasons even a quick h22a cb should hang with them
....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.

The power difference is nulled by the extra weight, the rubber only helps off the line and unless you hit over 100 the aero stuff doesn't matter. It may have more tq but the h22 has more revs. Once I hit my power band at around 6000-6500 rpms the G35 stop pulling and we stayed even. I even started to come back going into 4th. If your low 14 second h22a accord could keep up with them, you need to revamp your driving skills on the street. I doubt my h22 prelude will even see 14s and I stayed with one.

even the G35 sedan has 280bhp/270btq. and it only weights 500lbs more than an accord. that means it has about 100 ft/lbs of tq to move that extra 500lbs....

Im not saying you didnt hang with it like you said you did, but i think in a regulated race, with decent drivers the G35 would win.

And your right, at a track the g35 coupes/sedans are running anywhere from low to high 14s depending on the drivers but the street is completely different. I raced two srt-4s the other day both stage 1. I drove against one and my buddy drove my car for the other srt, using my prelude of course. In one of the raced I had I started 2 cars ahead and we both stomp the pedal at the close to the same time. By 130 mph he was still the same 2 cars back. Side by side from a roll it just depended on who hit the gas first. Both of the srt-4s run 13.9 and 14.0 consistently. At the track they would whoop my ass but on the street its a completely different story.

I raced my friend's DOHC SC2 back in the day when i was bone stock. He had an intake going for his car. It was a pretty fair race as far as I know. We were making roughly the same power, but his car is 500lbs lighter(plastic). The only thing I had going for me is that mine's stick, his is auto. I beat him by about 1 car. Those cars aren't fast but theyre definitely not slow!

Yes, apparently there is a grossly inefficent 12v V6 somewhere in that family.

Those cars have alot of potential... My friend has a 93 sl2 and stock that thing was slow, but he ended up buying some parts... Intake, headers, cat-back exaust, no cat,...... His car also has a nice weight diffrencefrom my car of about 300 pounds... From a dig he would launch really hard on me, but from a 10mph roll he wasnt going anywhere.... Then around 65 I would pull away.... I dont really mess with cars on the road anymore because I lost to an older Ford Escort that turned out to be a mean sleeper(spray)

Saturns are no joke. My buddy has one that runs high 12's. Here is a old vid of me running against it in my DA,http://media.putfile.com/saturn-vs-integra . I pull on him but keep in mind I'm running about 16lbs of boost.
