Some asshole was cutting in and out of lanes and stuff behind me on the way to some highway (teh Meadowbrook for the LI'ers), so I'm like "ahh lemme see if dude's going my way and will bite"...

Man, somehow he got in front of me onto the highway, and I start tailing him, right? Well homeboy starts pulling away, and I never catch up. As soon as we got off the onramp we both gunned it, and I never passed the man. What's worse is, it was a flippin WAGON. I was really hurt. I've beat more powerful cars and cars with similar/better power to weight ratios (SR20 SE-R's, an Alero, countless other Accords), so to be taken by a 120HP Saturn was really heartbreaking. Maybe my car's just not running right but I'm man enough to admit I got PWNED BY A SATURN WAGON

I never realized how quick those DOHC Saturns were until I worked at a dealership back in the day. The first gen 5 speed sedans get up and go! They must weigh nothing especially with all the plastic body panels.

Aghhh I forgot they're plastic. And I'm pretty sure they have 2.0L motors too...they actually have a lot of potential. I think they're pretty popular in auto-x and road racing as well...too bad they never had a real balls-out high performance motor though.

I am running a CEL and I have a 100# stereo system in my trunk too though...so... eh

The DOHC saturn motors aren't too bad. About as quick as a stock cb7 with the right driver. Of course all it takes is a little dohc honda magic to take care of that problem.

i've played with a dual cam saturn, and when i say played i mean playedit had nothin on me, you'd figure a plastic car would get out of its own way. i hope you get your shit worked out cuz this story makes me sad

Those things aren't that quick I ate one off the line and down the road here on outerloop, 4door 5speed with the twin cam sign on the back. Look at what mods I USE to have.

Ahhh....the wagon weighs 2500# to my 3000# (system)...plus I'm down on power a little bit (running rich, busted O2). He makes 120ish HP stock to my 140ish. I could see how he could pull on me. It wasn't like he completely shut me down, I just couldn't catch up with him. Whatever, fluck you guys
