    1st gen Eclipse GSX vs my H22

    And he whooped my ass! He has a big 16G upgrade, a fresh motor, and an ACT clutch... that's about it. 18psi, and he said he had a boost leak and a totally crap exhaust. But man... that thing took off! I didn't stand a chance!

    It's always cool to stop and talk with the people you race... it's such a rare thing, unfortunately! I followed this guy into a parking lot, and we talked for a bit. I wouldn't want a DSM, but I definitely respect them!

    Good job gettin killed . It is always nice to pull over and talk to the people you race. Ive always liked the 1g DSM over the 2g for some reason.

      there's a guy with a riced out gst always driving around my neighborhood. once i get my swap from cp[mike] i'm going to rip him a new one! the wind from me passing him will rip his off-center racing stripe right off!!!1!111!

            yea man... my friend has a 1st gen AWD Tsi (i dunno DSM trims lol) and hes just got a 2.5 inch exhaust from the turbo back... no cat or resonator... and a hollowed out muffler... 16 psi... slipping clutch... and some other bolt ons... and that thing is a monster

              2.5" is small! Tell him to upgrade to 3" and he'll see gains...

              minoreparations, the gst is the FWD turbo model... lacks the AWD launch, but it also lacks the AWD weight... still VERY potent cars.

                if you can keep them running DSMs can be fast...its getting them to the end of the 1/4 that becomes a problem
