its so possible. When it rains in florida the roads are full of oil and that oil comes up to the surface, and when im in traffic at a stop light, i cant keep up with other camrys and acuras NORMALLY DRIVING because i just slip and slide, its the torque factor.

        Good Job on the race.

Im a V8 man at heart and even I, me, break traction with a 305 Auto trans running 35X12.50 Mud terrains with 3.73 gearing on a 5000lb lifted Blazer in the AZ (stands for Arizona for the reading incompedent) rain. Things CAN happen. And they WILL. R33 have a beer and chill man.

Hey, shouldn't a new Charger have traction control? I imagine that might slow it down some too, but a less-skilled driver might do well with it.

WOW! sounds like a few other guys on this forum. Mean Skeptical Guys that have nothing better to do then to judge and beat up the rest of us!

Well I don't remember anything about Him beating a Brand new Dodge/chrysler Charger Hemi Edition with TCU: Traction Control Unit. I didn't actually read anything about the YEAR of it. I speculated that It was a 67-72 series Charger Hemi< Original Hemi desighn aka PowerHouse.
Because YEAH a brand spankin new charger is likely to burn out, compared to a(lets say) 69 fast back Hemi Charger.
Comprehend if you will if ,this^ Vehicle did race a Ricer in the Rain. and he over judged his high responsive, High horse power/Torque machine and spun the wheels. You don't think it would lose?
Vehicle A)accord taking already the lead to the next light; while, VehicleB) Dodge hemi/unspecified/spinning out losing time to the next light loses at next light. sounds possible to me.

There are questions that could have been asked instead, such as:
                    Q)What year was the Hemi?
Q)How many feet/yards/miles to the next light?
Q)why do I need to be the jerk to make a nice story look like shit(calling b/s), then while steaming the shit hot(keeping the subject going with evidence), push it in the story tellers face(pics of a 05-06hemi)?

A)well, if that was me then I have some serious problems.

Don't worry bro I'm going through the same problem with a few other guys on this forum. but to be honest it's the first I have seen someone talk about anothers Pee Pee!?

I call BS on it cause I was driving an 06 Charger without the Hemi in it, the v-6 (240hp, 253tq) for roughly 2 months and destroyed a slew of f22's There wasn't a single one that pulled up to me in it that beat me, off the line or down the line. That's why I call BS on this one. And trust me as much as I love my wagon and would love to believe this. I still call BS.

EDIT: Yes the Charger has traction control and the only time I could get it to brake traction was throwing down all it had on drift turns. They stick to the road no matter what the conditions. I took the beast snowboarding and it took alot of work to spin those tires in the snow.

i just wasted time in my life ill never get back reading all the bitching...
so i thought id say something positive.

hey man i believe you. good race, im glad to see a cb7 prevail over a v8, doesnt matter what conditions. Like vin deisel said, it doesnt matter if you win by a inch or a mile, winnings winning.

well I am kind of unbiased in this argument. r33cb7 doesnt need to be that extreme with his statement and bs calling.. the charger could also be lighting his tires just to show off. Another thing is.. althought it wasn't on the same car... the fuzion ZRi tires aren't exactly the greatest, even under dry conditions. Hoeverm, this based on my own experiences, so MY driving could be a factor too. I ran in an IS300 at driftcircuit.org and the tires didnt hold very well. Push them just a bit too hard and they gave.

New Chargers do have traction control and probably a limited slip.. wet or dry.. But I initially thought you guys were referring to the older chargers, owners of older chargers should be very well aware of what their car is capable of, nor would i think they would risk that piece of investment in racing any cars like ours. New ones? I mean think about it. we got ignorant people that by lambos, and benzes, so im sure there might be a ignorant charger owners out there.

Now remember.. hosing down a road is one thing.. now try pouring something like... motor oil all over the pavement and see what happens . prolonged exposure to rain can wash/transfer any kind of stuff all over the pavement.

However I do see the thing about launching.. maybe the guy just wanted to romp on it, or he was an idiot. I've seen single cam EF9 Civic beat my friend's Integra GSR (both of them mildly modded), this was at racelegal.com.. what was the reason for that? a better susp setup, better launch, and a better reaction time..

I dont think its bullshit. I dont think its glorious. I believe 93exaesthetic and am assuming knows his car rather well, But I do understand R33cb7's point of view.

I still wonder why anyone cares. Anyone who lies on the internet is just sad... but sadder still are those that get all bent out of shape because of it! Tell me you beat a Lamborghini in a Geo Metro, and I'll believe you. Why? Because you said so. Because I can never recreate the situation. Because I just don't care enough to bother arguing! I don't lose anything by believing, and I don't gain anything by proving you wrong. However, if I act like an ass on the internet, I WILL lose my reputation in the eyes of some... Reputation on the internet is pretty much all you have!

                              ima put it this way

NO CAR NO MATTER HOW MUCH HORSEPAOWER IT HAS CAN KEEP PERFECT TRACTION IN THE RAIN!!! NOT EVE A TCU WILL KEEP THE TIRED FROM SPININ.

my dads has a 5.6 nissan titan. it was raining out one day and he just TAPPED on the gas and it was spining. AND THESE COME STOCK WIT TCUs. so callin b/s on his story. 4get it. u take a 350hp car wit a crap load of tourqe out on a road wit oil AND water and c if u get traction.
