Anybody ever raced a Mazda 6?

kinda off topic but my mom has a mazda 6 V6 version..yeah there quick as hell..like to boost the beast

I love the Mazda 6 but the i is not fast and the s version does the 1/4 in low 15's I believe. The mazdaspeed is nice and even though they're similar prices it won't compete with the Evo and no one will cross-shop them. They're going for a more mature audience. And it weighs 300lbs more than the Evo. The Mazdaspeed version looks better inside than the regular version too.

I autocrossed the Mazda 6s 2 years ago (Auto though) when they came aound to all the big cities and you could test drive their cars. They had Falken tires on and some upgraded suspension, but I still didn't think it was that fast or had crazy handling. I'm sure many people on here who have dumped some money into their car could take them on straights or curves. Don't know about highway though.
I wouldn't mind having a modded one though cause I love the way it looks.

Was it Zoom Zoom live? I took out a 6s, but it was an autotragic. I believe it was a stock suspension. It was fun and decently fast...faster than my Accord, but I wasn't blown away.

well i have a mazda 6s (The v6) and the shit is way faster then my cb7 i mean there both stock but when my girl drives the 6 and we leave together like goin to work or something and we fuck around she leaves me like nothin and it makes me mad lol. but i do the same to her when she drives the cb. but i did get my ass handed to me when i raced a lil crx with a gsr motor in it (while driving the 6) i would have done better but my girl was with me and she was bitching and i couldntconcentrate on the shifts cuz i coundnt hear the engine. cuz the 6 is pretty quiet when accelerating....

i was on the freeway going about 90 messin w/ my friend in the g20 and all of the sudden this white mazda 6 flys by and then slows down. my friend in the g20 goes crazy tellin me to chase him. well i did and i downshifted to 4th at about 85 and i did launch first but the fucker walked all over me like nothing. now if my tc had the trd blower...mmm. im saving up for that. produces 200whp and about 180wtrq and still keeps the facort warrenty

The MS6 has a turbo version of the 2.3 4 cylinder...

I think a built F22 or I/H/E H22 could hang 10 with a 6 V6. The fours are heavy as hell so they'd only pull on the highway...

my buddy mazda 6 is the v6 6spd crazy fast would smoke the h22 he was pushing i think about 270 stock i think but ill double check but secound gear that pulled sooo hard

The EVO is somewhat heavy as well... I dunno. If the weight is close, then the cars should be pretty close. Of course, the 4G63 has been around forever, and the Mazda whateveritis is fairly new! Plus, I'm sure it's a V6 with a turbo, not a 4.

i think thats the whole purpose of making the car look nice so u dont mod them that why they come like that sleak stylish most of the newer expenisve cars ,and thats why some timesa cars dont pass and they are getting strict on passing maddified cars cause they dont want us modding our cars

6's are nice cars.. i just so happen to have 2 friends who have 6's .. one is a v6 stick.. and the other is a 4banger auto. both stock.. i've driven both.. and taken out the i4 auto with ease (with the f22a1) .. but the 6 cylinder is pretty fast .. i drive it and punched it and it picks up .. chirping the tires on 3rd gear (but it could be due to shitty stock tires) .. we ran a Gsr and beat it, we also ran a 3-series bimmer .. i think it was a 325 .. but we killed it. I'm sure a Evo could stomp on the v6

I was wondering cause i pretty much know nothing about these cars, Can a EVo kill an STI?? Because my fren doesnt know for sure but he thinks that the STI and Mazdaspeed6 may be up and up after driving both of the cars.

No an evo cant beat and sti, and sti is faster in a straight, but around the track an evo will spank it, either way both will kill a mazda 6 no doubt.
