      Well the weight off the car is the big thing....for handling, not so much acceleration, altho im sure taking off the hood will get you a better 1/4 mile time, even tho the aerodynamics get hurt you are getting cold cold air forced into the intake and the engine is hella cool and you got less weight.

        riding with no hood? whats the point. I mean ok showing off but then everyone would know what you got and just why... I wouldn't do it.

          as i mentioned before:

          - less weight (50 pounds?)
          - colder engine (more power)
          - direct cold air into the intake (more power)

          im not planning on doing this for a long time, this is part of my experiment of how fast i can make this car by spending NO money
