Autocrossed this weekend and did pretty good. Was technically ahead of my rival STI but they didnt count one of the cones he hit. Next weekend decides who wins. I'll have some pics up later, and a little bit of some video, but I ran khumo's up front(r-compound) and the car was pretty tail happy. Got it sliding around quite a few turns.
My second lap, I ended up finishing the race sliding sideways @ about 40mph into 6 cones. I thought I was in 2nd to pull me out of the slide, but actually was in third which left me with no power.
I did manage to impress quite a few people keeping control of the car on Saturdays test and tune when it got into slides but managed no cones. I only ran the front ones, because I thought the khumos were legal.. they arent so im running the full set next month. Vids dont look like much, but through the whole course, I am running at redline for 2nd, and halfway through 3rd.. which puts it around 70-80mph in quite a few spots. Sorry for the quality.. the blair witch style made me sick too. hopefully have a better vid later.
An arrogant fool in a yellow evo8 actually asked me "did you just get 2 because they were too expensive" (asking about wheels) I should have told him I was just giving him a chance.. since him in his modded fruity looking car didnt keep up with me
I just told him that they would be on next month since i didnt test/tune with them.
Also saw a 98ish civic hatch from miami area. champ. white, typer 5lug, typer lips and a k20a to back it up. I have a feeling that the motor is a little too front heavy, but we'll see if we can get it to hook up better at the next event.
