    ran my turbo F22 at the track

    used C16 fuel
    15-17psi
    it was breaking up on the topend of 3rd and 4th gears... need to check the pluggaps...
    car would of went a lot faster if it was smooth...
    best run

    12.593 at 114.63mph
    12.5 at 114.6mph 15psi
    11.7 and 11.5 20.5psi
    F22a1
    60-1 td06h turbo
    Darton mid sleeves
    85.5 wiseco 8.8:1 forged pistons
    Crower pro billet rods
    Custom ported head.
    KMS valves
    F23 headgasket
    ARP H23 headstuds
    H23 upper intake manifold
    F22a6 lower intake manifold
    Intake manifold is gutted
    AEM EMS 1040u
    FIC 850cc injectors
    Walbro 255 pump
    H23 manual trans
    Prelude shifter assembly
    Forbidden short throw
    Nitrous Express Kit installed, never used on this motor

        damn i saw 15-17 psi i was like psft no way a stock f22a would hold up to that much pressure then i saw youyr sig lol.You are the only one i know that has a built single stick lol big props what car were you against?

          Lookin better but are you sure that C-16 wasn't slowing you down? I'm ultimately expecting 11's from you...i don't even think you'll be happy unless u get 11's. for 114mph trap.

            I second this motion. C-16 may have slowed you down. Try 104 octane next time around. Still cool for an F22.

              yea if your compression is still 8.8:1 as indicated by ur pistons (can't remember if you milled the head or not) then u should have been fine on 93 octane around 16-19* timing.

                  Was this with spray or only boost? What kind of rims/tires are you running? I just wanted to clarify you don't have any valvetrain upgrades do you? If that was without spray then I'm sure you could knock a full second off your time still, but either way like mrx said I expect 11's out of that setup. Don't hit 10's though because I want to do the honors when I build my engine

                      I think my compression ratio is around 9.5:1
                      The pistons are 8.8:1, but the block was milled and the pistons stick out of the block...
                      yeah, i'm thinking the c16 may have played a role in the breaking up... never once has it dont it before... but i've also never ran that much boost before. I wanted to run it at 20psi, but i need to take it one step at a time. I'm planning on running 22psi eventually, maybe even higher... turbo/injectors are good to 26psi or 620hp.
                      maybe i'll try c12 nextime...or something a little lower. i ran c16 because i planned on running 20psi and i didnt know if i was going to overboost due to me still setting up the boost controller chart...
                      No nitrous. I dont plan on using that till i get this thing tuned to 22psi...
                      Valvetrain... KMS stainless valves, new OEM f22a6 valvesprings, OEM locks and retainers...
                      To be honest with you if the car wasnt breaking up, and i can get my 60ft time down i can go 11's at 16-17psi. Now the weather is cool i plan on runnign the car pretty often and checking the datalogs and tuning after each pass.
                      I really do think with full boost and nitrous 10's could be possible... but i'm not trying to break anything...
