Like the title, I just wanted to see what would happen if I tried to race the new cavaliers. I don't usually street race, but I hadn't in a long time. I was bored, and the guy in the cavalier looked like an asshole, haha. So we were both at a red light, and going straight into where it eventually turns into one lane. It was just him in his car, and I had my boyfriend (200lbs), a full tank of gas and lots of tools in my trunk. So we both floor it, and I was amazed that I was about 3/4 to a car length in front of this guy! I was thinking...this is a newer cavalier..it'll probably beat me. But I beat him lol, and he was MAD! First of all...currently my car is a project in the making, so it looks like it's straight from the junkyard. And all I really have done to my car is an intake...and he got beat by a girl, lol. So after that, he was behind me of course, hehe...and he goes into the other lane! when there's a van in that lane, heading right at him!!!! He almost got killed for trying to get in front of me, even though I already kicked his ass lol. But at the last second, he got in front of me before that van hit him, seriously the last second...he would have died lol. Even though cavaliers are lame, lol...I don't have much done to my car, so I'm very proud of her, I didn't think she could do it, but I guess it pays off to have good head flow =)

What model cavalier was it?

My mom has a 2002 ls sport 5spd cavalier and they can haul (especially the z24 models). I know If I ran it in a 1/4, it would beat my accord.

be careful with retarded drivers like that. ive done my share of street racing and one thing i learned was not to fuck with drivers who are willing to go until last very second even if they are behind.
