My car vs new v6 mustang.

I was just driving from work and I see this yellow mustang tailing me. We were just cruising until he got in front of me and we stopped at a red light (I was behind him.) He punched it when the light turned green so im like whatta hell, heres a chance to try out my boost. When I get to 2nd gear im already right beside him, then I shift to third and when my boost kicked in again I left him. That was pretty funny seeing his face afterwards, he had this embarrased looking grin haha. What do those run in the 1/4 anyways? It looked like a 2004 V6.
You have been defeated by a car with child locks, how embarassing...

the Mustang orginally came with a v6 it started the pony cars. cars that can do more then a striaght line blast. a fun car. nimble. anyways. The new v6 mustangs are deep into the 15s. the man. with I/H/E will be in the mid to high 14s easily.

yea, but you have to tune for the littlest thing . . . even an intake has to go on the dyno to get the fuel curves adjusted so it doesnt lean out . . . very high maintenence if you ask me

magazines test them and they are in the mid 15s so it must be the driver error.

hardly a a driver error, if that were the case then why would i run a14.72 in my car, magazines dont alway know how to drive either, and the numbers are conservative that they publish most of the time from manufactures

The lesser model now gets a larger V-6: the 4.0-liter SOHC plucked from truck duty in Explorer, Mountaineer, and Ranger models. It produces 210 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque, a gain of 17 horsepower and 15 pound-feet over last year's 3.8-liter unit. The engine upgrade may not seem monumental, but even more important, Ford now adds an extra gear with the optional five-speed automatic.
