not necessarily my man was shooting and i dont think the b18c1 had anything done to it by reading this thread, so im just thinking a I/H/E at the most. so w/ homie spraying i would expect him 2 blast on him, of course unless dude couldnt drive its a possiblility

sorry ima lover of the integras so im gona have to defend myself on this one. of course i hate the b series vtec engines because of the torque being so low, which is a reason i kept my ls engine and plan on doing the integra version of the Frank (ls/vtec). but if they were rolling i kno for sure that the h22 wouldnt have pulled like that...

i know about the cb7s franks its hot and i definitely want to do it. i think im going to keep the f22 block and use the h22 head...btw the h23 does come in vtec also right, i think i'd rather use a h23 head vtec considering the h23 in general has less compression than the h22, just my mind set, but if you want to tell me which head flows better, spit up the info, im all ears.

            H23 is AKA type-s motor.
but im not a genius and i dont think the H22 head will fit on a F22a6 block will it?

my EX had a F22a6 in it but i still dont think the H22 head will bolt up on that block. it wouldnt be the best thing.

you also mention low compression. you plan on running turbo cuz if not then you need to raise that compression. just my 2 cents

ALL Ex's in the US should have the F22A6. The Canadian model EX's were the equivalent to the US LX, so they had the A1.

And yes, with some modification, the H22 head will fit the F22 block. I plan on doing that after I blow up my F22A1 with my shitty $500 turbo setup

so no frank can be done w/ a f22a6 block, and yea i am running turbo, as low as compression is im liking the sound of the t3/t4 and run prolly 12psi as a daily driver, is that feasible w/ the compression ratio of the accord?

in my teg i may eventually run a t3 and upgrade eventually to a t3/t4 or a str8 up t4 when i do the ls/vtec because i plan on building that engine up right, from the bottom up.

i still dont know the basic compression of a f22/h23or h22? anyone care to contribute the information

umm.. the block for the f22 is the same on the 1/4/6 so you can put the h23 head on... that's in the performance section of this board. I'm planning on doing a f22a4 with a h23 soon.

and from what i've read it looks like CR is 9.1
                      WTB:
                      88-01 prelude 2.0si (3g) si (4g,5g)
                      OR
                      90-93 Accord.

Has to be 5spd, has to be CHEAP. SUPER CHEAP. Will be in Indiana in February permanently and want a project car when I get settled in.

YES an F22A6 block (as it is the same as all the F22A blocks in our cars) can be used for a frank. Talke to Wikkedv16 if you want details. He can supply you with all you need for any F series frank.

Midnite Racer X is running 10-14psi on a stock F22A with a t3/t4. His motor is very finely tuned though, seeing as he researched his ass off before touching his car.

i KNEW at first that all f22a blocks were the same but look a few posts up and it planted seeds of doubt n my mind, especially since im not a f series and h series buff yet.

i dont know y i asked a stupid question about running 12 psi daily driver and we have some that do it on stock internals on da tegs...please forgive me 4 dat.

on g2ic we have 'teg tips' maybe yall could get a section like that for da cb7's, incase any newbies come w/ questions yall could refer them to the 'cb7 tips.' like da ls/vtec there is a tip for that. go check it out on our forum, and get an idea from it...jus a suggestion

There IS an H23 VTEC from the factory. It came in the JDM Accord/Torneo Sir wagon. It's 220hp/163tq, and the AWD auto (the only option).
