HAHAHA, well i was coming home from dropping my girl friend off at school (night classes) well I took the long way home. And i am just kind of riding along. And I finally get a stop light in my favor. I wait and what pulls up next to me is a mom and son in a chrysler something or a ruther, and a 17-18ish kid in his 4 door Blazer. I was like shit they wont to nothing. Well i am think i should just do any ways, got to keep out the carbon build up . But any who. I rev up a bit and the kid inches forward. I am like ok. I inch back, and i am thinking he wont but i will let him get going to see if he will bit the bait. Well sure enough we both take off so so hard. and i lay into it. Flowmasters are yell'n, 30mph i hit second. (got the love the trucks ) and then i am pulling, 3rd 50mph. I am leaving him i see his noise dip a bit, he could handle it. lol It was a blast. by the end i had a good 4 cars on him.

it was the v6 blazer but not the top-of-the-line. I am not worried about stupid vortec blah blah stuff. For what my truck is it hauls (no pun intened) I have taken v8 Rams, v8 Silverados, also taken a few imports every now and then, more then fart pipes too.

I am keeping the truck, i just get tired of it every now and then. my mind gets to thinking you know. But i am going to be pushing 180-190 hp come next apirl. Jet parts are going to be bought and installed. So 15s are in the near future.

I hear ya man. i get the same feelings too about mine. But i am going with the explorer seats and OHC conversion...I just dont know how to go about the OHC swap.

I used to own a sonoma with a vortec motor in it and boy that thing hauled! Could easily stick with other trucks except for this stripped down s10 I raced a light. He had a 350 V8 swap. Yeah I got owned in that race, but I had to try.

yeah a lot of people put 5.0s in rangers. They car hit low 13s striped and what not. But with just a 5.0 stock motor in there with a LSD you are beating WRXs. I would love to do one but don't have time or money. But 15s in a truck are fast and i can take almost any truck that i race. (no lightings SRT-10s or SSs) Although i would like to race and SS and see how i go. or an SSR.

Not to try to rain on your parade or anything, but I beat a v8 Ram in the CB7 I had before the one I got now, and it was completly stock, cept for the muffler. Now, I have a '95 v6 Blazer, and my dad has a '95 v6 Ranger XLT (couldn't tell you if its the 3.0l or 4.0l, though), and I've driven it. It's pretty quick for a truck, but I think my Blazer is,too. I think it might be a close race, 'cuz my Blazer is auto and my dad's Ranger is stick, but I think my Blazer would still win. Though his Ranger handles turns lots better, especially since I have the off-road suspension package on my Blazer, which raises the height a little. But I like his truck alot, Ford trucks = actually good Fords, Ford cars = Found On Road Dead
