    CB7 vs 1988-1990 rx7

well my friend was driving home and for like 1 block an rx7 was tailgating us, he got to the side and i told my friend to drop it into 2nd and floor it we past it then stopped, next we took a right turn, from a 25 mph roll we went at it, we passed it like it was nothing, does anyone know how fast this car is? because it seemed mighty slow but the engine was roaring

If it was a non-turbo model, it's nothing spectacular. The rotary engines are very revvy, so they do sound like they're working. A turbo RX7 should eat a CB7 alive unless there is something seriously wrong with it... which, knowing those cars, there may well have been!

RX7s are like expensive Mustangs. Crazy potential, but LOTS of maintenance and repair... only Japanese rotary parts are much more expensive than domestic V8 parts!

Yeah, non-turbo have like 146hp or something, and run about 16.5 ideally. So, it's not a bad match for a lightly modded CB7!
