I'm not saying turbo is bad or anything, just that NA = better powerband (also more expensive for poor people like me )

Personally, I'm considering boosting simply because I just got another F22A long block (everything from the throttle body to the exhaust manifold to the oil pan ) and it just seems more logical to build that since its readily available and I'll have almost 0 down time

I don't see how you figure that n/a has a better powerband? It doesn't matter if there is lag below 3k rpm or whatever it would be depending on the setup because you will NEVER be out of boost. When you are racing you will always be in your powerband, and if you have such a big turbo that you fall out of boost when racing then you are a retard who shouldn't mess with cars to begin with. So no ... turbo > n/a

when you depress teh clutch you lose boost... unless of course your talking about running a turbo on an automatic... but yes, no matter how fast you shift your still gonna lose boost for a split second

and that split second doesn't matter because you make so much more power than you would n/a

I plan on taking my car to the track whenever I get my turbo setup within the next couple months. I still have my slicks so if I can run without snapping the axles then I should put down some good times with my car weighing only like 2500 lbs now. I plan on buying performance axles anyway so it doesn't really matter. I would bet money that even if Antoine screwed up horribly he would still hit 13's... 250 whp is a lot. I think 2.6 is making like 245 or something and he hit a 12.7. So taking into account the different gear ratio and extra weight he could probably hit mid-low 13's. Just my opinion on it though...

Uberdata has a feature called "full throttle shift" it can get rid of that problem fairly easily

eh, done the FTS on my own and if there is no load on the engine then u won't be in boost...atleast for my turbo that holds true. I just thought of something...on the s2k race video u can hear my wastegate open, just time how long it takes from me hitting the throttle till u hear the WAAAAAA sound of my exhaust. Then listen for it when i shift...virtually no lag.

Even if i do suck it up and run it at the track this year i wouldnt expect very good times for the following reasons:

              1. Iv never driven on a track, my in experience alone would put me at a great disadvantage

              2. my car has 18" rims on it which is another big disadvatage....ALTHOUGH it is possible that they would HELP me get a little more traction that some of the other turbo guys...who knows

              3. my clutch is horrible, stock clutch + 215ft/tq = junk

ok im done with stupid excuses now lol. but seriously all those things would make my times not even worth risking something breaking a few hundred miles away
Haha I could always tow you back Eric

OK...OK I will jump in on this one

My goal is by the end to have built the F20A enough and boosted to put down hopefully 400whp. I know its a high number and it will take some work but hell I don't care about the work. I want to be able to run in the low 12s to high 13s with a FULL interior and no weight reduction.

Don't flame on me for my dreams, as I know wikked will have something to add to this LOL. But hey Lets see if I can git r dun.

You had better be at the next meet Mike! I've known you longer than just about anyone on here (you and hondafan81) and I haven't met you in person yet! Plus, I gotta see this beast!

I can't wait to get my new Fseries boosted. It won't be spectabulous, but it'll be ok... I'm thinking of going total stealth and using a side mount intercooler... I know I won't have much power, but it'll be cool I dunno though. We'll see.

are any of the h series axles better than f series? if so could they work for our accords (hint r33 if they work)
MRX, why dont you do a hybrid f/h series tranny?
