    CB7 Rallycross mud fest

Just Rallycrossed my 93 lx 5 speed. It was so sloppy that we had to move the course several times, but it was fun. I'll post race results once they're up.

Here is helmet cam from a Miata on today's course.

That looks really fun. I would love to do something like this. How much does it cost to do this? Does your vehicle have to be designated for racing only? Like it can't be street legal?

It was $40 for the race and a weekend SCCA membership. I just searched for events near me on motorsportreg

No special equipment, just an SA2005 or better rated helmet. I used a loaner helmet (I went on short notice). More than half the field was people in their daily drivers, but you didn't need to have plates. Several people trailered in fully prepped race cars.

Originally I was planning to autocross this car, but they posted a rallycross and the car already had snow tires on, so I figured why not? We didn't get a lot of runs in because the course was so slow, but it was still a blast.

Good job on the specifics. The escorts first run was really fast! Do those cars have good aftermarket support?

@sonikaccord The Escort was pretty built, had an LSD and some really aggressive tires, interior stripped/full cage. Never saw under the hood, but that LSD made a huge difference in the mud.
