    Estimate my time!

Let's have a little fun, shall we?

Here's how to play: estimate what my best time is going to be this Saturday, 2/28, at the drag strip. The closest estimate to my best time will get $25 from me via Paypal. This is no joke, if you are the winner, I will PM you asking for your Paypal address so that I can send you $25, corrected for Paypal's lame fees.

Here is what you need to know:

    Location: Sonoma Raceway

    Current best drag time: 15.716 @ 86.3
Mods at that point in time: SR w/ram air out front light, DC 4-2-1, Magnaflow 2.25", gutted (upholstery, rear seats, panels, climate controls, radio, AC and cruise delete), MT 225/50R15 street radials, Odyssey PC680, prelude shifter.

    Current performance oriented mod list:

    ENGINE:
    F22A1 stock block (305k miles!)
Synchrotech built M2Y4 with Accord 5th, 4.266 FD, and MFactory Helical LSD
    P06 ECU with Hondata S300 V3
    Setup tuned at Blacktrax Performance

    RDX 410cc injectors
    H23 60mm throttle body
    VC air breather
DC Sports 4-2-1 header with collector/flex pipe

Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic 4 puck clutch
    ACT Streetlite 12.6lbs flywheel
Odyssey PC 680 with Billet aluminum hold down kit
NGK Iridium IX spark plugs and NGK blue wires

    SUSPENSION/WHEELS:
    Energy Suspension Hyper F System
Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers with swift springs (12k front and 8k rear)
SPC front and rear camber kits (1.5 deg adjustable)
Filled motor mounts with 80A Polyurethane
    Rigid rod-end custom torque mount
Centerline Warrior 15x7 Custom 4-lug wheels
Mickey Thompson Street Radial II 225/50R15

The sad little dynapack dyno sheet:

Yes, I need to flow better, but this is the way it is right now.

Good luck estimating, may the best estimator win!

(If this is not allowed, please delete. I don't believe any rules are being broken, but feel free to enlighten if I missed something!)

You didn't mention it in your post. But, I assume one guess per member? Also how many decimal places? You're previous best time is shown as 15.716

Yes. You may edit the post in which you place your guess, however, based on any new information that comes up, that is, if anyone asks me any questions.

Edit: two decimal places will suffice. I will round the third place.

            Video and slip proof right?

I'm just going to guess 15.9 first time back and new setup hopefully you pull a 15.5 or so but ima stick with 15.9.

Yes, time slip for sure, and if I can get someone to go with me, there will be video as well. It's hard to get my friends on the road by 5am.

Wow, this kind of took off! Let the money draw them in, I guess .

So, here is what I'm going to do: if we can get at least 14 different members total to estimate a time, I will raise the jackpot to $50 and contribute an additional $50 to CB7Tuner in honor of the winner.

I want you to run at least a 14.99. But 15.09ish feels right.

How many times do you think you will get to run when you bring this car out?

I'm thinking that I will get about 3 to 4 runs in before I have to head back home. There are so many cars at a bracket event.

They don't have like a test n' tune night 4 nights a month or anything? At my local track you have the ability to run 15 or 20 times a night if you wish. It really lets you get out there and learn. But your track is far nicer and I bet you really get a lot of people who show up.

I hope you pull a good time! I was impressed with 15.7. Really impressed. I bet you'll pull a heck of a time once again.
