hi flo cat
2.25 catback to an N1 style muffler
ngk spark plug wires
gutted trunk and back seat
did i mention i have an auto f22a1?
i got a obx header sitting in the garage waiting for the damn rain to stop so i can slap it on and hit them 16's!!!! yay so excited!!

it ran a faster 15.549 that beat deevergotes time but i cant find that slip lol ill look for this one..
15.89 at 88mph or something like that
rebuilt f22a
milled head 40 thousanths
intake/header/headerback exhaust no cat
gas light just came on as she pulled into the staging lane
no pass seat
no trunk carpet/spare blah blah the norm weight redu
no pwr belt on or a/c belt

as for it being alot of trouble?? meh not at all.. the motor was rebuilt just because my stepdad ran it when the oil pump desided to go(Was racing when it happend)
milling the head is like 50 buxs
the header cost me 200shipped
the intake was 60shipped
and the exhaust was like 100 even including piping
400ish and ur dropping from 17s? high 16s?? not bad in my book.. id appreciate it if u kept personal shit off of forums.. lets keep it to Pms.. old skoo mod..

not talking about the mechanical shit, that's what the game is about, but the pulling seats, carpet, spares, etc.....i'm too lazy for that shit...i ran my 14.5 with nothing removed, even had air and cruise on it......ran a 14.7 with my p13 that caused me to run like shit and a box of subs/amp in the trunk.....i like to see what it will do in real life conditions...i could have pulled stuff, got slicks and ran a 14 flat i bet

ah.. i see now.. well i did it just for fun.. and to boot.. it wasnt me driving.. it was my sister it was her car at the time.. anyh00t.. 14.5 is pretty impressive what mods did u have then?? i/h/e clutch right?? and ur p13 running like shit was due to KS no?.. meh back on topic.. i plan on running my cb7 with nothing but a headswap/p06 tuned/stock airbox/f22a1 header/stock exhaust. just to see what a hybrid would pull in itself.. to justify doing it

15.577 here. It was my first time out, and NOT a very good run. Bad tires, low RPM launch (I was afraid of too much wheel spin, or breaking an axle) and I didn't have the best reaction time. I hope to get into the mid 14s this summer! I'll be going at least 10 times this season (I'm required to )

nice time by the way. whatchu got under the hood and any weight reductions? my dream is to get into the 15s with an f22a4 5 spd with a lil weight reduction. I hit 16.5 with just hitting redline shifting point and intake and exhaust. yes i kno redline is a high shift point but i didnt kno then. i plan to shift a lil past peak power which is 5200... planning to shift at 5500. i also launched really high... like 4500 LOL!... plan to launch at like 2.5-3. i also added a lot of other crap since then.

I know reaction time has nothing to do with the actual 1/4 mile time, but it's unnerving to know that you got such a bad start. It messes with your head!

I'm going back this spring with better tires and a new clutch. I hope to get a 14.5 with some weight reduction.
