S2000 Challenge

So through the ppl i hang out with word gets around about my car, now i've been challenged by an 04-05'ish s2000. I believe the car has an intake, exhaust, and vtec controller. The s2000 will be piloted by the female owner who i hear can throw down just as well as the boys. I don't even mind launching from a dead stop anymore as i've learned to launch and not snap my axles. I easily took a 04' TSX the other day with 3 ppl in my car and the s2000 has the same hp rating as the TSX i believe so i'm not too worried myself.

My brother's S2K put down just under 200hp to the ground (194whp 2000 S2K) and ran a 14.1 @ 99mph at the track (only got two passes in). If she knows how to drive it then you should have a good race, the 04/05 has allot more torque then the pre 03's do.

But! the 04-05's drivetrain is trash compared to previous models! (and the fact that they don't have as wide a powerband)

the 02' S2k is SUPPOSEDLY the "fastest" (or best built I should say) out of the ones made up till the newest... the 00-01 had a tranny problem, which was fixed in 02, then in 03 it was something to do with the differential... in 04 they went to the F22C (2.2L instead of the 2.0 Liter) and lost about 1.5K RPM's of powerband, but like Busted said, gained torque low end...
