    H22 Cb7 Vs H22 Lude

    Hello all,

So last Saturday for the hell of it I Raced an h22a swapped prelude

    I also have an h22a

    His setup was :

    H22a
    CAI
    Greddy header
Some cat back exhaust that looked small in at least one section
    I think stock p13

    My setup:

    H22a
    Stock JDM header
    60mm exhaust
    Euro R intake manifold
    Acura RDX injectors
    SRI
    74-68mm TB
Tuned by me on Neptune (on a tune I thought was pretty good except a little rich at v-tec crossover)

Well we started from a 15 roll

And I pulled a good car on him before we got to high rpm

Once there he kept up with me...

I maintained the 3/4 car lead through 3rd and he just stayed there.

We did it again and same scenario

I pulled over and was like WTF. Sadness ensued and I am now trying to figure out why my top end matches a stock h22a...

Then one of my friends with an h22a swapped Integra raced him on a map I had from crome

and the same thing happened, except the lude pulled on him in the top end.
(the teg is heavy and weighs about as much as my car)

As one final side note, my car did have quite a bit of extra weight in it with an extra 100 pound of passenger and a load of crap I broght back from home earlier that day, but still I though top end I would walk him easy...

He has some weight reduction (CF hood and fiberglass fenders, but still)

Anyway I am doing a leakdown test to see if anything is bad there...

What tranny do you have? Your stock header probably held you back in the top end as well, with the tiny collector.

      Tranny and Collector

The transmission is an m2b4 (with lsd)

As for the collector, it is 2".

People underestimate the quality of the stock JDM header.

I can take a picture if I think about it and post, but it is raining out...

2" is 2", no matter how good the header design is. Open up the collector, and you're top end will gain nicely.

            It is being opened up

The collector is being replaced with 2.5" soon, at the same time I upgrade from 60mm to 3" piping.

Edit: also his was at most 2.25"

As for the tune being off, I can post it and by all means you can tell me where.

The more input on maps the better.

I can also post a data log if I can find one that has a 3rd gear pull on it.

EDIT: I am not sure we have privilege to attach files on the forum, but darkcloud if you want I can email it to you?
