    91 LX vs SI SUPERCHARGED

earlier tonite im comin out of best buy and i see a civic go by..he revs up so i follow him to see wats up... after going thru traffic for liek 10 minutes we find and empty space but we already goin like 80 and traffic behind so i gun it dude guns it and im next to him the whole way....more traffic so we slow...find a better spot... find a deserted road and go froma rollin like at 20 ..first gear i stay right next to him.. but as soon as i get in second dude left me like i was stading still.. dude even waved at me out the window.. i was like yeah i know si are fast but gotdamn THAT FAST ..so i chase him down and ask wat he was running.. he said its supercharged... so i was like well aightthats cool all i got its a full exhaust, cold air, igniton wires.. som im basically stock....i got a question for ya ....would i be faster if i super/turbo charged...and how much each of themm run?..im tryin to get up on my knowledge on this..thanks

you can't fit a supercharger under the hood of a cb7, so you'd have to turbo it up if you wanted to beat that supercharged si... did he tell you what kind of power he was putting out?

depending on what year the SI was it was more than likely a Jackson Racing Supercharger the Newer SI's 02-04 put out around 180-188 with the street version and 220-225 with the race upgrade. not sure about the older style SI's

its like nothing in the world. definition of relaxation.

If it was an older one that was supercharged it might have been using a Vortech kit. If it was then it's highly likely that thing was hella fast. They can put out 3-400 hp pretty easily.

the older Si's with the JRSC with 8psi will run about mid-high 14's.... the 99-00 si's will run high 13's with 8psi pulley... and i could care less about the mini-buses!

Si's can put out a lotta power. Guy at my school has a civic ex with a rebuilt si swap running 250-260 dynod without an exhaust system. WOW. Now I wanna built a NA engine that'll kill that!
