cb7 vs EK hatch on low boost

I was hanging out at the races on the weekend like usual. my friend with his nasty turbo ek hatch calls me out for a race. On low boost the car makes 390HP. on high boost he is making close to 500hp. I seen his car run, he is one of the top dogs at the races. he always spins but when he hooks he is gone, seeing as i have traction bars and i dont spin that much, i agree.

2nd gear roll 40ish mile an hour, i am brake boosting. one the 3rd honk i immediatley 1-2 cars ahead and more, because all he is doing is spinning. he comes close to my bumper by 4th gear when i let off. i win.

3rd gear roll 60mph. i put 3-4 cars on him but he says he was heat soaking.

Now i am on the hot list locally, every fast car would probably want to run me . and i dont like racing my car because its my daily driver.

i will have my camera handy if i ever race again, so we will get some videos here. maybe me vs a 1997 Viper Rt 10 for $50 but i am hesitant.

You see thats what i dont get. he made all that horsepower and didnt even have what it took to put it down on the ground.

With those number figures he was making if hes gonna put it work hes gotta come correct and do it the right way. Slicks should have been used because all he did was spin and spin giving you the win.

If you was rockin some dragradials you would have embarressed him even more from a dig. Its about power and most of all balance without it,it just doesnt make sense. Congrats on the win you should concentrate more on traction bro and keep that wheel-hop to a minimum youll slaughter alot of cars that way.

lol he better go hard with some slicks or hes screwed. As for me i dont take my boost solinoids off. Most srt4's that do cant harness their power into better traction.

But with an early shift boost gear schedule in each gear to balance out traction more to their liking. Pcm controlled boost
