So my friend bought this integra DB8. Which is a 4 door integra with a gsr. It took him about a week before it threw a rod. So i goes in to the garage about a month later its back out with a stock rebuild. .20 over on the pistons but thats it for internals.
My mods are just about nothing other then 65mm tb, iab delete, 2in exhaust, everything else is basic suspension.
96 gsr has dc sports header, skunk2 pro serice IM, skunk2 2.5 exhaust, aem short ram, thats just about it.
So formula D has finally came to everette speedway. About 6 or 7 cars going there and we already knew that this was going to happen. Finally get onto I-5 and we stay all together till the highway actually cleared for about a good 3 to 4 miles before any cars were in the way. 4 lanes. Im the farthest over (hall ass lane) friend with his 240s in the middle and the tegs next to him. Cruisin at about 60 to 65. That was the best mph for me to drop to third. Throws me right into powerband. Finally i hear him/and see him lookin over laughing, and reviing. I heard him drop it, dropped it into third slammed the pedal to the floor. Surprisingly i was pulling. I pulled up until around 100mph when he was just cruisin by me. got off the gas at about 110 and lost by about 3 cars when it was all said and done. personally i dont think the cb7 did so bad. i also might have jumped a second but it was nice. with an h22 i think he wouldnt have ever got close to me.

hahaha honestly bro my frends cb has a jdm h22 wit headers intake n exhaust....he rapes gsrr's and b16's like nothing even in hatchbax...his shit pulls hard in 3rd....launch suks tho too much torque...but he makes up wen vtec pops in 2nd gear!!!!
