    Play with the clutch to see where your can feel it but the car doesn't move. i rev my H to around 1200 at a light. that way you don't attract attention and you don't spin. Too much wheel spin off the line can mean the race. You better off starting low.

    And always use the clutch when launching. If you pop the clutch you run the risk of getting too much grip and damaging something or just spinning your tires. After the launch you can drop the clutch quickly but i still don't. I don't need to pop the clutch to chirp second.

    and make sure you can level the clutch/throttle. I have lost races because i wasn't reving high enough and let the clutch out too quick.

        Yea the track is your safest bet,but hey we've all done it once or twice.
