    H23 Track Times

    Hello fellow CB owners!

Just curious what a stock H23 swap in a CB would run in a 1/4? Anybody done it?

If you're runnin an H23 in your CB, post your setup and your track times and dyno numbers.

Im planning on doing an h23 non vtec swap in my cb and I need a few ideas. I want to run a 16g turbo setup but I want to know what a CB runs with a stock H23.

Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure oneoffaccord has a h23 boosted cb.

My guess is that it would be high15 - low16 sec with a STOCK H23. There are too many variables though. Some DX CBs weigh close to 2700lbs, while some EXs and SEs are over 3000lbs, that is a .5 second difference right there just because of the weight.
Then don't forget that you can spend a few hundred on cams, exhaust, and a tuning session, and you will have roughly 200hp instead of the stock 160. That is roughly another .5 second difference.

Im giving it a 13.8, that my guess...

with my F22 14B boosted I walked my buddy who ran a 14.2!
The H23 with Big 16G is a lil faster, and has more torque.

so dependent upon driver and what not!
Im guessing! with stock internals and dependent upon suspension setup.

Boosted = 13.4 lowest to 13.8! Thats what I am going with.

yeah, i have an automatic so im sure that slows things down a little. but with the boost i should be runnin good numbers.
