my first kill lasted five minutes . . .

    ok . i have a stock auto f22a6 , in a 92 ex sedan .
i was on the way to my apt from my mom dukes house .
i decided to take 75/85 to 75 north thinking i would avoid the most traffic because of a braves game .
i was riding on 75/85 when a 93 civic popped up in my rear view going at LEAST 85 , then slowed down fast as fck right behind me .
the first thing i think is , " i need to get the fck outta this retards way . . . . "
so i move over only to have him and his buddy in an older model jetta fly by .

    whatever .

so ten minutes later i'm doing the same speed and catch up to these guys but this time it's just me and them on 75 , and all this road to play on . . .
they open up a lane between them for me to get in , and i do .

    we start from 70 , ( with me going khalfani , wtf are you doing . . . )
i start to get my ass handed to me for about 1/4 mile when those long f22 gears take presedence .
after i hit 90 mph it was over , i flew right by and topped out at 113 , a best for my car . and then i slow down cause cobb county is no joke with tickets .

i do know street racing is dumb , and i rarely ever do ish like this .
but if anything what i learned from tonight . . . i want to go faster .

not that i'd do it all the time , i'd just like to be able to .
an h22 is def in the plans . so stay tuned guys . thanks for reading .

Yeah that auto is really hurting you. In a 5-spd, 3rd gear PULLS from 60ish, especially with the a6 engine.

lol. well routine maintenance will help with that. keep your oil changed. do a tune up at regular intervals and you'll be golden. and if something is broke, fix it before you buy a mod.

Yeah, I never used to think of it either, but I just put my car on the dyno yesterday, and a whopping 110whp * 1.3 = 143hp at the crank assuming a 25% drivetrain loss on an auto, in 100*F weather, and 3k old royal purple & honda atf. Only mods other then a1 the a6 conversion, is the chr p&p a6/h23 intake manifold w/unmodified h23 tb, bisimoto intake gasket, and unorthodox stock diamter crank & power steering pulley, a k&n panel on the stock a1 airbox, on the original a1 exhaust, and all emission controls intact.
