    Lesson Learned.

So I pull out of my vacation home in Mexico after a weekend away from my car. Having been the first time Id driven it in a few days, I gave it some gas even though it was still cold. 6 grand and I let off, not wanting to beat on it TOO bad. A rather nice fellow in an E46 BMW 328i sees my enthusiasm behind him and ever so courteously turns on his hazard lights for me.

My interest piques. I have a playmate

We play for a little while, gunning it until we hit another patch of traffic down main street. My new friend sees every car that gets in my way as his own little victory, celebrating each time by flashing his hazards at me. We turn and make our way to the highway. I follow him down the entrance ramp in third around 50 as he pulls away from me in his luxurious and powerful sports sedan that any sane car fan would envy. Another flash of amber in front of me. I decide to continue the H22 abuse, gently shifting into fourth around 7000 rpm in third. I doubt this new acquaintance of mine was ready for a race, because I passed him and as I flew by, I saw his healights raise a bit, but for some reason, he wasnt catching up. Not wanting to break the stringent Mexican laws, I let off around 90 and slow down to a more relaxed and leisurely speed. Obviously he respected the law less than I do, because he whizzed by, again giving me a nice amber light show. This time, however, he exited the highway and I followed. He took the U turn and I did too. Upon exiting the corner, he slowed down to a stop, letting me pull up next to him. I think he wanted a car horn chat, because he honked it three times and floored it.

I was enjoying playing with my pleasant new friend so I went along, abusing my engine some more for a proper race. Thanks to the wonders of rwd and fwd, he got the jump on me, but by the end of first, I had caught back up, dead even with him. Quick shift into second, I pull ahead. Shifting into third I can start to see his headlights in my rear view mirror. I hit fourth gear and call it a day. I felt sorry for my buddy. His shiny sports sedan couldnt keep up with my not so shiny not so sporty sedan

tldr: Cocky jackass in a BMW talks shit with his hazards, cant back it up and gets spanked by an H22.

e46 328s aren't fast. haha. The 330i is like a 15.1 second car or so. So pretty even with an h22.

                  Good work nonetheless, sounds fun.

Stupid thing really does need a tune to go with the jdm one piece weight reduction.
