Accord tranny's suck (just thought I would mention) That bogging is probably normal, F22's even with ihe are not that peppy, imo

OP, how many miles does your motor have? That will probably answer your question.

Red plugs? Sounds like you're running way rich.

You need to shift into the powerband. That means taking the motor beyond peak power a bit in most cases.

Your bogging issue might be more involved than shift points, though. If your plugs are fouled, there could be an issue. You might be running too lean where you're shifting into 2nd, causing the ECU to pull timing... or you could be running too rich, and an overly rich mixture can cause a loss of power.

Properly maintain your car before you go racing it. That's just common sense. Racing hurts the engine enough when it's been properly maintained.

Yes they are red, but how do I fix it. I have a basically all stock motor besides the intake, and exhaust(just a muffler).

I hope your problem gets fixed. I cant stand it when it happens to mine. Did that today while lined up with mustang. I beleive it was mostly cause i was in the mood when im not paying to much attention to what i should be. Instead all i could think about was having a mustang on my list. Went to throw it into second it grinded a bit and the mustang was gone.
