I don't like to see threads full of flaming based on a single stupid race. I'm not just talking about the Z24 and SpecV guys either... A Z24 Cavi would RAPE an F22A1, even with some mods. A Z24 Cavi with a good driver and some mods could probably give an H22 CB7 a decent run.
Fearit22, based on your mods, I would say you would run about 13.8 in the 1/4. That's respectible, for sure! It was one of the Cavi guys that said 12s, so I don't know why that even became and issue! To get into the 12s, you would need close to 300hp, or a 2000lb car (both are possible, but not easy).
The Z24 and SpecV guys are more than welcome on the board. If they argue crazy claims with facts, and don't go calling names or BS on everything, then they are right in what they are saying. Hell, if I went on a Cavi board and heard that some dumbass whupped an H22 CB7 with a stock auto Cavi, I would probably chime in too!
If you have a race that seems unlikely, then don't defend it as if it were hard fact... Yes, there are some people out there that CAN NOT race for the life of them! There are also people out there that can outrace you in an underpowered car because YOU can't race! This forum is subjective... You tell it as you saw it, and others can only look at specs of the cars involved. Any threads that get out of hand will be deleted. End of story. Members that feel the need to continually bash others because of 'doubtful' claims will be warned, and eventually banned. If you think something is BS, then let it go. You can live on in happiness knowing that some e-thug on the internet gets his jollies by lying about his races... or he picks on grannies who drive sporty cars...
