was taking a cruise on the highway trying to relieve some stress. and as i look in my rear view mirro i see some headlights and amber corners coming up on me hard. i decided to pull into the middle lane, because i wasnt sre if the car would be worth running. as the car gets beside me i see it is a 93 civic coupe ex. he revved up while next to me so i slowed down and got behind him. i figured i know he isnt stock but, hey its a civic. i put it into 3rd gear and get right on him. after about 10 secs, he decided to gun it so i gun it ryt after him. we are at about 70 mph and i realize to myself " shit i should have passed him by now" wtf. i smiled and said yeh he has a swap. at about 85 i pick up enough apeed get to the side of him and jump a fender and shift ito fourth where i then pulled like 3 cars on him. and so we were all the way up to 130. i hit emergency lights and let off.
he pulls up next to me with a huge smile on his face and said lets do a second gear roll. i said np, we hit it, i hear his vtec pop. all of second gear we are side by side. my long gears helped me win that race because when he hit third i was still pulling hard in second and my 3rd gear is nasty on highways. so i pulled a little more than half a car from the second gear roll.
so after all are fun was over we slowed down untill about 30 and told eachother what we had. he told me jdm type r integra motor with lsd tranny and minor performance parts,
and i told him h22a with f22 tranny and minor performance parts. we smiled were excited frome the run and all in all i made a new friend.
