Just curious! Now Im no racer, dont claim to be! Hell ive got an f22 stock boy with 20's! I was just wondering whats the best wheel size for 1/8 mile drag? Reason being is i see alot of guys that ride around with small ass wheel on the front and bigger wheels on the back! I just thought they were showing off their wheel inventory or maybe they couldnt afford a full set IDK! Any way let me konw! PEACE

For drag racing, the smaller the wheel the better. Less rotating mass makes for better launches. In the end, the difference is really the weight of the wheel, but size does matter here. The more sidewall you have, the better traction you will have due to the sidewall flex. This is why slicks have a lot of sidewall that is very flexible. I've raced with 17's and got no traction, then I raced with 14" steels, got better traction, but I was on all season radials, so they weren't really great either. Now I have 15" Acura alloys with good traction tires, but have yet to race on them.Originally posted by Junior SmurffNevermind guys, google search works wonders!

allright thanks alot! Has anyone ever gone to the track with 2 or 3 different size wheels to see if thier is a big difference? Obviously overall hieght (wheel plus tire) would be the big difference plus what tire your running! Just wondering if a 15 inch wheel with an overall height of say 25 would be the best? These are random numbers i was just giving examples! Thanks again! PEACE
