WRX vs Jdm H22 accord

Well tonight I jus love my car 10 times as much now. My friend owns a focus and his mom owns a 2004 wrx. Well were goin to my house to drink and Im like lets see what my h22 can do. I wasnt expecting to win but everyone ALWAYS underestimates my car since its still a auto. First run went like this, hes behind me and were goin 30, I go them he goes, I hit vtec and slightly pull! then my car shifts to second and I dropp out of vtec and he catches up till my vtec kicks in again and were head to head up till 90 till we had to slow down. I was impressed how I gave him nice little run. Second time same start goin 40 but im behind gettin next to him and hittin vtec right way. I pull hard on him and get a car length ahead and I shift into second poppin out of vtec again and he catches up, but wait I hit vtec once again and pull ahead a car length all the way up to 90 WOOHOO! I find out he didnt down shift to second so this may be why the outcome. Last and final run was from a light goin up hill, Im like this is a 4way intersectuon with like 7 cars watchin us? Hes like who cares even tho we past a cop right before the second race, but he was too pissed to care lol. Light turns green we both launch alittle i kept it in D1, I pull on him by a car length and same thing i shift to second and he catches up till vtec. We hit 60, I was at 6000 in second and was a car lenghth ahead I win again cuz we were at my house already to turn! SWEEEEEEET! Afterwards he was like wow, I heard your vtec and it was crazy i didnt think your car can do that. You guys dont have to believe me but the only reason I won cuz he doesnt know how to drive it yet but im sure the story will be different next time. Also we didnt pass 100mph and he dafinetly would of killed me with my 4 speed auto.

I believe you. Nice runs! The jdm auto h22a can run 14s with bolt ons and a great launch. Im thinking of doing a jdm h22a auto myself w/LSD though. where did you get your motor? peace.

BTW: I hate wrx drivers, they are so unbelievably cocky, and I love it when they get their ass handed to them on a focking silver platter.

hey 4th gen, you know if you manually shift it, you will stay in vtec through every gear.

I got my motor from japanstarmotor.com. And I did manualy shift from the light and i took it to 7800 rpm through 1st gear and got him. He said the last run he was already in 3rd and i was still in 2nd. But manualy shifting does help for me since im still using the accord TCU. I only do that off the line, but from the rolling runs I still had him only redlining at 7000rpm with the accord TCU.

..good run, especially since your H22 is an auto. but, this was against a WRX, not a WRX sti, right? not to down your H22, coz i have one too, but those WRX sti(s) can take off the line and leave our cb7s in 1st, 2nd, 3rd.. when driven right.

Nope im auto he he was manual, It was a 2004 WRX rated at 227 hp turbo. I got IHE and he doesnt know how to launch in the WRX yet.

yeah i was gonna say. that was like me spanking an si (sir here in canada).... cuz he couldnt drive it. now he runs 14.9

i should take it back, i havent driven an auto h22....5 spd only

good runs... ive never run a wrx before, but i always assumed they would take a h22. maybe they just have off-the-line power, but go nowhere after that.

they will kill the h22 on launch...60 foot times are insane on these.

they have no high end

stock on stock should be nice to see

but it doesnt take much to run a wrx to run 13's... friend has one. u get nice whiplash.

I know exactly what ur talking about. I've seen 2 different WRX drivers fuck up in the twisties and understeer, one was cool (barely) but the other made love to a small bush. Some are just too confident & dont have experience. Good run!
