    first kill with Spec A-III

    i feel happy. lmao. i beat a guy i lost to with Spec A-II with the same mods. lmao.


    me and black_soul went out cruising. not racing or anything. just cruising after we vacuumed out our cars. meet up with my friend Justin with his '96 Probe. has an intake and full exhaust. me with just an intake and my a6 IM swap. i told him i was gonna race him again because i lost the last time we raced b/c of my stupid clutch.


    so we get down the road of a tuner shop we were at. got to a light where we about to turn and he revvs at me. so i say WTH and turn down the road with him.

    we take off at WOT. i switch to 2nd and im right on his bumper. i see a puff of black smoke come out of his muffler he's switching into 2nd. i go into 3rd and so does he. by the end of 3rd im pulling on him so i switch out of the lane and into the next. by middle of 4th im half a car in front while we're both at WOT. by the end of 4th im 3/4ths or a car length ahead so i get off of it and get back behind him. my friend black_soul pulls up laughing his head off at the next light because i walked him(Justin, '96 Probe) down. lmao


    *sigh* ill be so happy and waiting to see what the cat-back exhaust does to help Spec A-III breathe better up top.

        yeah. the 1st gen Probes were boosted. but ugly. lol. what year was his? ive seen too many threads on probe forums that have put holes in the block from boosting the motor

                yeah. 145hp to the crank tho. we can make that with an a6 IM, a6 cam, and pt6 ECU. lol. i wonder how good a Probe GT is. its a V6 but ive ran with a V6 CD5 before

                            yeah thats what most of the guy around here do with their accords. not cat, no resinator, just a 2.75-3in exhaust with a huge muffler and an intake and think they're fast. one of my friends said "you can gain like 20hp from just taking your cat off." wtf? on a 4cyl? no. sike.

                              they will still give you a good run for your money!

                              the SVO mustang was putting out 200hp / 240 trq ( stock trim )

                              and the XR4Ti ( 175hp / 210 trq ) stock.

                              I think ..for what they are...they are decently quick.

                              despite what your views are...they aren't a disgrace like the mid 80s ford probe was to the Domestic heads.

                              the SVO mustang and the Merkur XR4Ti were decent cars and will take on cars today.

                              Im not really a ford fan..BUT, I will give respect to cars that can and will hang with modern ( today ) cars.

                              Im not a biased person... I have love for imports and I have love for Domestics.

                              let see anyone with a modded CB7...including a fully tuned H22 w/ turbo take on a modded Dodge Shadow Shelby CSX...and lets see who wins!

                              I gurantee...the H22 turboed CB will have a HARD time winning against that CSX. ( modded VS modded )

                              assuming...both drivers are Professional drivers.
